< John 9 >

1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ଯୀଶୁର୍ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ମାର୍ଗମଧ୍ୟେ ଜନ୍ମାନ୍ଧଂ ନରମ୍ ଅପଶ୍ୟତ୍|
2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
ତତଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାସ୍ତମ୍ ଅପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ହେ ଗୁରୋ ନରୋଯଂ ସ୍ୱପାପେନ ୱା ସ୍ୱପିତ୍ରାଃ ପାପେନାନ୍ଧୋଽଜାଯତ?
3 Jesus answered, “This man did not sin, nor did his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.
ତତଃ ସ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୁଦିତୱାନ୍ ଏତସ୍ୟ ୱାସ୍ୟ ପିତ୍ରୋଃ ପାପାଦ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶୋଭୂଦ ଇତି ନହି କିନ୍ତ୍ୱନେନ ଯଥେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ କର୍ମ୍ମ ପ୍ରକାଶ୍ୟତେ ତଦ୍ଧେତୋରେୱ|
4 I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.
ଦିନେ ତିଷ୍ଠତି ମତ୍ପ୍ରେରଯିତୁଃ କର୍ମ୍ମ ମଯା କର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟଂ ଯଦା କିମପି କର୍ମ୍ମ ନ କ୍ରିଯତେ ତାଦୃଶୀ ନିଶାଗଚ୍ଛତି|
5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
ଅହଂ ଯାୱତ୍କାଲଂ ଜଗତି ତିଷ୍ଠାମି ତାୱତ୍କାଲଂ ଜଗତୋ ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃସ୍ୱରୂପୋସ୍ମି|
6 When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,
ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ତା ଭୂମୌ ନିଷ୍ଠୀୱଂ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ୟ ତେନ ପଙ୍କଂ କୃତୱାନ୍
7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ତତ୍ପଙ୍କେନ ତସ୍ୟାନ୍ଧସ୍ୟ ନେତ୍ରେ ପ୍ରଲିପ୍ୟ ତମିତ୍ୟାଦିଶତ୍ ଗତ୍ୱା ଶିଲୋହେ ଽର୍ଥାତ୍ ପ୍ରେରିତନାମ୍ନି ସରସି ସ୍ନାହି| ତତୋନ୍ଧୋ ଗତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ରାସ୍ନାତ୍ ତତଃ ପ୍ରନ୍ନଚକ୍ଷୁ ର୍ଭୂତ୍ୱା ୱ୍ୟାଘୁଟ୍ୟାଗାତ୍|
8 Therefore the neighbors and those who saw that he was blind before said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ସମୀପୱାସିନୋ ଲୋକା ଯେ ଚ ତଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱମନ୍ଧମ୍ ଅପଶ୍ୟନ୍ ତେ ବକ୍ତ୍ତୁମ୍ ଆରଭନ୍ତ ଯୋନ୍ଧଲୋକୋ ୱର୍ତ୍ମନ୍ୟୁପୱିଶ୍ୟାଭିକ୍ଷତ ସ ଏୱାଯଂ ଜନଃ କିଂ ନ ଭୱତି?
9 Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.” He said, “I am he.”
କେଚିଦୱଦନ୍ ସ ଏୱ କେଚିଦୱୋଚନ୍ ତାଦୃଶୋ ଭୱତି କିନ୍ତୁ ସ ସ୍ୱଯମବ୍ରୱୀତ୍ ସ ଏୱାହଂ ଭୱାମି|
10 They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”
ଅତଏୱ ତେ ଽପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ କଥଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଂ ପାପ୍ତୱାନ୍?
11 He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”
ତତଃ ସୋୱଦଦ୍ ଯୀଶନାମକ ଏକୋ ଜନୋ ମମ ନଯନେ ପଙ୍କେନ ପ୍ରଲିପ୍ୟ ଇତ୍ୟାଜ୍ଞାପଯତ୍ ଶିଲୋହକାସାରଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ତତ୍ର ସ୍ନାହି| ତତସ୍ତତ୍ର ଗତ୍ୱା ମଯି ସ୍ନାତେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିମହଂ ଲବ୍ଧୱାନ୍|
12 Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I do not know.”
ତଦା ତେ ଽୱଦନ୍ ସ ପୁମାନ୍ କୁତ୍ର? ତେନୋକ୍ତ୍ତଂ ନାହଂ ଜାନାମି|
13 They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.
ଅପରଂ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ଧେ ଜନେ ଫିରୂଶିନାଂ ନିକଟମ୍ ଆନୀତେ ସତି ଫିରୂଶିନୋପି ତମପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ କଥଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୋସି?
14 It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
ତତଃ ସ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ସ ପଙ୍କେନ ମମ ନେତ୍ରେ ଽଲିମ୍ପତ୍ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ସ୍ନାତ୍ୱା ଦୃଷ୍ଟିମଲଭେ|
15 Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ୱିଶ୍ରାମୱାରେ କର୍ଦ୍ଦମଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ ନଯନେ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେଽକରୋଦ୍ ଇତିକାରଣାତ୍ କତିପଯଫିରୂଶିନୋଽୱଦନ୍
16 Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” So there was division among them.
ସ ପୁମାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାନ୍ନ ଯତଃ ସ ୱିଶ୍ରାମୱାରଂ ନ ମନ୍ୟତେ| ତତୋନ୍ୟେ କେଚିତ୍ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦନ୍ ପାପୀ ପୁମାନ୍ କିମ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶମ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି?
17 Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ତେଷାଂ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ଭିନ୍ନୱାକ୍ୟତ୍ୱମ୍ ଅଭୱତ୍| ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ତେ ପୁନରପି ତଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ଧଂ ମାନୁଷମ୍ ଅପ୍ରାକ୍ଷୁଃ ଯୋ ଜନସ୍ତୱ ଚକ୍ଷୁଷୀ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେ କୃତୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ କିଂ ୱଦସି? ସ ଉକ୍ତ୍ତୱାନ୍ ସ ଭୱିଶଦ୍ୱାଦୀ|
18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,
ସ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିମ୍ ଆପ୍ତୱାନ୍ ଇତି ଯିହୂଦୀଯାସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଜନସ୍ୟ ପିତ୍ରୋ ର୍ମୁଖାଦ୍ ଅଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ନ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟଯନ୍|
19 and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”
ଅତଏୱ ତେ ତାୱପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ଯୁୱଯୋ ର୍ୟଂ ପୁତ୍ରଂ ଜନ୍ମାନ୍ଧଂ ୱଦଥଃ ସ କିମଯଂ? ତର୍ହୀଦାନୀଂ କଥଂ ଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୋତି?
20 His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
ତତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ପିତରୌ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱୋଚତାମ୍ ଅଯମ୍ ଆୱଯୋଃ ପୁତ୍ର ଆ ଜନେରନ୍ଧଶ୍ଚ ତଦପ୍ୟାୱାଂ ଜାନୀୱଃ
21 but how he now sees, we do not know; or who opened his eyes, we do not know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”
କିନ୍ତ୍ୱଧୁନା କଥଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୱାନ୍ ତଦାୱାଂ ନ୍ ଜାନୀୱଃ କୋସ୍ୟ ଚକ୍ଷୁଷୀ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେ କୃତୱାନ୍ ତଦପି ନ ଜାନୀୱ ଏଷ ୱଯଃପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଏନଂ ପୃଚ୍ଛତ ସ୍ୱକଥାଂ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ୱକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି|
22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ଭଯାତ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ପିତରୌ ୱାକ୍ୟମିଦମ୍ ଅୱଦତାଂ ଯତଃ କୋପି ମନୁଷ୍ୟୋ ଯଦି ଯୀଶୁମ୍ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତଂ ୱଦତି ତର୍ହି ସ ଭଜନଗୃହାଦ୍ ଦୂରୀକାରିଷ୍ୟତେ ଯିହୂଦୀଯା ଇତି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାମ୍ ଅକୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍
23 Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”
ଅତସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ପିତରୌ ୱ୍ୟାହରତାମ୍ ଏଷ ୱଯଃପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଏନଂ ପୃଚ୍ଛତ|
24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”
ତଦା ତେ ପୁନଶ୍ଚ ତଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ଧମ୍ ଆହୂଯ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଗୁଣାନ୍ ୱଦ ଏଷ ମନୁଷ୍ୟଃ ପାପୀତି ୱଯଂ ଜାନୀମଃ|
25 He therefore answered, “I do not know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
ତଦା ସ ଉକ୍ତ୍ତୱାନ୍ ସ ପାପୀ ନ ୱେତି ନାହଂ ଜାନେ ପୂର୍ୱାମନ୍ଧ ଆସମହମ୍ ଅଧୁନା ପଶ୍ୟାମୀତି ମାତ୍ରଂ ଜାନାମି|
26 They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
ତେ ପୁନରପୃଚ୍ଛନ୍ ସ ତ୍ୱାଂ ପ୍ରତି କିମକରୋତ୍? କଥଂ ନେତ୍ରେ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେ ଽକରୋତ୍?
27 He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You do not also want to become his disciples, do you?”
ତତଃ ସୋୱାଦୀଦ୍ ଏକକୃତ୍ୱୋକଥଯଂ ଯୂଯଂ ନ ଶୃଣୁଥ ତର୍ହି କୁତଃ ପୁନଃ ଶ୍ରୋତୁମ୍ ଇଚ୍ଛଥ? ଯୂଯମପି କିଂ ତସ୍ୟ ଶିଷ୍ୟା ଭୱିତୁମ୍ ଇଚ୍ଛଥ?
28 They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
ତଦା ତେ ତଂ ତିରସ୍କୃତ୍ୟ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ତସ୍ୟ ଶିଷ୍ୟୋ ୱଯଂ ମୂସାଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାଃ|
29 We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.”
ମୂସାୱକ୍ତ୍ରେଣେଶ୍ୱରୋ ଜଗାଦ ତଜ୍ଜାନୀମଃ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱେଷ କୁତ୍ରତ୍ୟଲୋକ ଇତି ନ ଜାନୀମଃ|
30 The man answered them, “How amazing! You do not know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.
ସୋୱଦଦ୍ ଏଷ ମମ ଲୋଚନେ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେ ଽକରୋତ୍ ତଥାପି କୁତ୍ରତ୍ୟଲୋକ ଇତି ଯୂଯଂ ନ ଜାନୀଥ ଏତଦ୍ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଂ ଭୱତି|
31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.
ଈଶ୍ୱରଃ ପାପିନାଂ କଥାଂ ନ ଶୃଣୋତି କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋ ଜନସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଭକ୍ତିଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ତଦିଷ୍ଟକ୍ରିଯାଂ କରୋତି ତସ୍ୟୈୱ କଥାଂ ଶୃଣୋତି ଏତଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ଜାନୀମଃ|
32 From the age (aiōn g165) it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.
କୋପି ମନୁଷ୍ୟୋ ଜନ୍ମାନ୍ଧାଯ ଚକ୍ଷୁଷୀ ଅଦଦାତ୍ ଜଗଦାରମ୍ଭାଦ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶୀଂ କଥାଂ କୋପି କଦାପି ନାଶୃଣୋତ୍| (aiōn g165)
33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
ଅସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଏଷ ମନୁଷ୍ୟୋ ଯଦୀଶ୍ୱରାନ୍ନାଜାଯତ ତର୍ହି କିଞ୍ଚିଦପୀଦୃଶଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ନାଶକ୍ନୋତ୍|
34 They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.
ତେ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ପାପାଦ୍ ଅଜାଯଥାଃ କିମସ୍ମାନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ଶିକ୍ଷଯସି? ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ତେ ତଂ ବହିରକୁର୍ୱ୍ୱନ୍|
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
ତଦନନ୍ତରଂ ଯିହୂଦୀଯୈଃ ସ ବହିରକ୍ରିଯତ ଯୀଶୁରିତି ୱାର୍ତ୍ତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ତଂ ସାକ୍ଷାତ୍ ପ୍ରାପ୍ୟ ପୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରେ ତ୍ୱଂ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିଷି?
36 He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”
ତଦା ସ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱୋଚତ୍ ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ସ କୋ ଯତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନହଂ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିମି?
37 Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁଃ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ତ୍ୱଂ ତଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍ ତ୍ୱଯା ସାକଂ ଯଃ କଥଂ କଥଯତି ସଏୱ ସଃ|
38 He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.
ତଦା ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିମୀତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ସ ତଂ ପ୍ରଣାମତ୍|
39 Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who do not see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”
ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଯୀଶୁଃ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ନଯନହୀନା ନଯନାନି ପ୍ରାପ୍ନୁୱନ୍ତି ନଯନୱନ୍ତଶ୍ଚାନ୍ଧା ଭୱନ୍ତୀତ୍ୟଭିପ୍ରାଯେଣ ଜଗଦାହମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛମ୍|
40 Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”
ଏତତ୍ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ନିକଟସ୍ଥାଃ କତିପଯାଃ ଫିରୂଶିନୋ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍ ୱଯମପି କିମନ୍ଧାଃ?
41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁରୱାଦୀଦ୍ ଯଦ୍ୟନ୍ଧା ଅଭୱତ ତର୍ହି ପାପାନି ନାତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ପଶ୍ୟାମୀତି ୱାକ୍ୟୱଦନାଦ୍ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ପାପାନି ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତି|
