John 20
1 Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went early, while it was still dark, to the tomb, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.
Am ersten der Wochentage aber kommt Maria Magdalena des Morgens, da es noch finster war, an die Gruft, und sieht, daß der Stein von der Gruft weggenommen ist.
2 Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him!”
Sie läuft nun und kommt zu Simon Petrus und zu dem anderen Jünger, den Jesus lieb hatte, und sagt ihnen: Sie haben den Herrn aus der Gruft weggenommen, und wir wissen nicht, wo sie Ihn hingelegt haben.
3 Therefore Peter and the other disciple went out, and they went toward the tomb.
Da ging Petrus und der andere Jünger hinaus, und sie kamen an die Gruft.
4 They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first.
Die beiden liefen aber zugleich, und der andere Jünger lief vor, schneller denn Petrus, und kam zuerst an die Gruft;
5 Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not enter in.
Und bückt sich hinein und sieht die leinenen Tücher liegen; er ging jedoch nicht hinein.
6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,
Nun kommt Simon Petrus, der ihm nachfolgte, und ging hinein in die Gruft, und sieht die leinenen Tücher liegen,
7 and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.
Und das Schweißtuch, das auf Seinem Haupte war, nicht bei den leinen Tüchern liegen, sondern besonders an einem Ort zusammengewickelt.
8 So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed.
Da ging denn auch der anderer Jünger, der zuerst zur Gruft gekommen war, hinein, und sah und glaubte.
9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
Denn sie wußten noch nicht die Schrift, daß Er müßte von den Toten auferstehen.
10 So the disciples went away again to their own homes.
Da gingen die Jünger nun wieder weg heim.
11 But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,
Maria aber stand an der Gruft und weinte draußen. Als sie nun weinte, bückte sie sich hinein in die Gruft,
12 and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Und schaut zwei Engel in weißen Gewändern sitzen; einen am Haupte und den einen zu den Füßen, da der Leib Jesu gelegen hatte.
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.”
Und diese sagen zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Sie sagt zu ihnen: Sie haben meinen Herrn weggenommen, und ich weiß nicht, wo sie Ihn hingelegt haben.
14 When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and did not know that it was Jesus.
Und als sie solches gesagt hatte, wandte sie sich hinter sich, und schaut Jesus dastehen, und wußte nicht, daß es Jesus sei.
15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”
Spricht Jesus zu ihr: Weib, was weinst du? Wen suchst du? Sie, meinend, daß es der Gärtner sei, spricht zu Ihm: Herr, wenn du Ihn fortgetragen hast, sage mir, wo du Ihn hingelegt hast; und ich will Ihn holen.
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni!” which is to say, “Teacher!”
Spricht zu ihr Jesus: Maria! Sie wendet sich um und spricht zu Ihm: Rabbuni, das ist: Lehrer!
17 Jesus said to her, “Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Spricht zu ihr Jesus: Berühre Mich nicht, denn Ich bin noch nicht aufgestiegen zu Meinem Vater; gehe aber hin zu Meinen Brüdern und sage ihnen: Ich steige auf zu Meinem Vater und zu eurem Vater und zu Meinem Gott und zu eurem Gott.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.
Maria Magdalena kommt und sagt es den Jüngern an, daß sie den Herrn gesehen, und daß Er solches zu ihr gesagt habe.
19 When therefore it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
Als es nun Abend war am selbigen ersten Tage der Woche, und die Türen, wo die Jünger versammelt waren, aus Furcht vor den Juden verschlossen waren, kam Jesus und stand in der Mitte und sprach zu ihnen: Friede sei mit euch!
20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.
Und als Er das sagte, zeigte Er ihnen Seine Hände und Seine Seite. Da freuten sich die Jünger, als sie den Herrn sahen.
21 Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
Da sprach Jesus abermals zu ihnen: Friede sei mit euch! Gleichwie Mich der Vater entsendet hat, so sende Ich euch!
22 When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit!
Und da Er solches gesagt hatte, hauchte Er sie an und sprach zu ihnen: Nehmet hin den Heiligen Geist.
23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”
Welchen ihr die Sünden erlasset, denen sind sie erlassen; welchen ihr sie behaltet, denen sind sie behalten.
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
Thomas aber, einer aus den Zwölfen, genannt Didymus, war nicht bei ihnen, als Jesus kam.
25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
Da sagten die anderen Jünger zu ihm: Wir haben den Herrn gesehen! Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Es sei denn, daß ich in Seinen Händen das Nägelmal sehe, und meinen Finger lege in das Nägelmal und lege mein Hand in Seine Seite, werde ich es nicht glauben.
26 After eight days, again his disciples were inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the middle, and said, “Peace be to you.”
Und nach acht Tagen waren Seine Jünger wiederum drinnen, und Thomas mit ihnen. Kommt Jesus bei verschlossenen Türen, und stand in der Mitte und sprach: Friede sei mit euch!
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
Dann spricht er zu Thomas: Reiche deinen Finger her und siehe Meine Hände, und reiche deine Hand her und lege sie in Meine Seite, und sei nicht ungläubig, sondern gläubig.
28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
Thomas antwortete und sprach zu Ihm: Mein Herr und mein Gott!
29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
Spricht Jesus zu ihm: Weil du Mich gesehen hast, Thomas, hast du geglaubt. Selig sind, die nicht sehen und glauben.
30 Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;
Viele andere Zeichen nun tat Jesus vor Seinen Jüngern, die nicht geschrieben sind in diesem Buche.
31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.
Diese aber sind geschrieben, damit ihr glaubt, daß Jesus ist der Christ, der Sohn Gottes, auf daß ihr glaubt und Leben habt in Seinem Namen.
