Job 12
1 Then Job answered,
അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 “No doubt, but you are the people, and wisdom will die with you.
ഓഹോ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു വിദ്വജ്ജനം! നിങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചാൽ ജ്ഞാനം മരിക്കും.
3 But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Yes, who does not know such things as these?
നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ എനിക്കും ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ ഞാൻ അധമനല്ല; ആൎക്കാകുന്നു ഈവക അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു?
4 I am like one who is a joke to his neighbor, I, who called on God, and he answered. The just, the blameless man is a joke.
ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു ഉത്തരം ലഭിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഖിക്കു പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീൎന്നു; നീതിമാനും നഷ്കളങ്കനുമായവൻ തന്നേ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീൎന്നു.
5 In the thought of him who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune. It is ready for them whose foot slips.
വിപത്തു നിന്ദ്യം എന്നു സുഖിയന്റെ വിചാരം; കാൽ ഇടറുന്നവൎക്കു അതു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 The tents of robbers prosper. Those who provoke God are secure, who carry their god in their hands.
പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ ശുഭമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ നിൎഭയമായ്‌വസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ദൈവം എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
7 “But ask the animals now, and they will teach you; the birds of the sky, and they will tell you.
മൃഗങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ പറഞ്ഞുതരും;
8 Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you. The fish of the sea will declare to you.
അല്ല, ഭൂമിയോടു സംഭാഷിക്ക; അതു നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യം നിന്നോടു വിവരിക്കും.
9 Who does not know that in all these, the LORD’s hand has done this,
യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഇതു പ്രൎത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവയെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവനാർ?
10 in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?
സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളുടെയും പ്രാണനും സകലമനുഷ്യവൎഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും ശ്വാസവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
11 Does not the ear try words, even as the palate tastes its food?
ചെവി വാക്കുകളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അണ്ണാക്കു ഭക്ഷണം രുചിനോക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?
12 With aged men is wisdom, in length of days understanding.
വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ ജ്ഞാനവും വയോധികന്മാരിൽ വിവേകവും ഉണ്ടു.
13 “With God is wisdom and might. He has counsel and understanding.
ജ്ഞാനവും ശക്തിയും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ, ആലോചനയും വിവേകവും അവന്നുള്ളതു.
14 Behold, he breaks down, and it cannot be built again. He imprisons a man, and there can be no release.
അവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആൎക്കും പണിതുകൂടാ; അവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ ബന്ധിച്ചാൽ ആരും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയില്ല.
15 Behold, he withholds the waters, and they dry up. Again, he sends them out, and they overturn the earth.
അവൻ വെള്ളം തടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അതു വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവൻ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അതു ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
16 With him is strength and wisdom. The deceived and the deceiver are his.
അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ശക്തിയും സാഫല്യവും ഉണ്ടു; വഞ്ചിതനും വഞ്ചകനും അവന്നുള്ളവർ.
17 He leads counselors away stripped. He makes judges fools.
അവൻ മന്ത്രിമാരെ കവൎച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപന്മാരെ ഭോഷന്മാരാക്കുന്നു.
18 He loosens the bond of kings. He binds their waist with a belt.
രാജാക്കന്മാർ ബന്ധിച്ചതിനെ അഴിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അരെക്കു കയറു കെട്ടുന്നു.
19 He leads priests away stripped, and overthrows the mighty.
അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കവൎച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ബലശാലികളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടുകളയുന്നു.
20 He removes the speech of those who are trusted, and takes away the understanding of the elders.
അവൻ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാൎക്കു വാക്കു മുട്ടിക്കുന്നു. വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബുദ്ധി എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.
21 He pours contempt on princes, and loosens the belt of the strong.
അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ ധിക്കാരം പകരുന്നു; ബലവാന്മാരുടെ അരക്കച്ച അഴിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
22 He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death.
അവൻ അഗാധകാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ നിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്താക്കുന്നു; അന്ധതമസ്സിനെ പ്രകാശത്തിൽ വരുത്തുന്നു.
23 He increases the nations, and he destroys them. He enlarges the nations, and he leads them captive.
അവൻ ജാതികളെ വൎദ്ധിപ്പക്കയും നശിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവൻ ജാതികളെ ചിതറിക്കയും കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
24 He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
അവൻ ഭൂവാസികളിൽ തലവന്മാരെ ധൈൎയ്യം കെടുക്കുന്നു; വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കുന്നു;
25 They grope in the dark without light. He makes them stagger like a drunken man.
അവർ വെളിച്ചമില്ലാതെ ഇരുട്ടിൽ തപ്പിനടക്കുന്നു; അവൻ മത്തന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ചാഞ്ചാടുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
