Jeremiah 34
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, with all his army, all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion, and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and against all its cities, saying:
১বাবিলৰ ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰ, তেওঁৰ সৈন্য-সামন্ত আৰু তেওঁৰ অধীনে থকা পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো ৰাজ্যবোৰ, আৰু সকলো জাতি সমূহে যিৰূচালেম আৰু তাৰ সকলো নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰা সময়ত, যিৰিমিয়াৰ ওচৰলৈ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা এই বাক্য আহিল, বোলে,
2 “The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘Go, and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, the LORD says, “Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon and he will burn it with fire.
২“ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘তুমি যোৱা, আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজা চিদিকিয়াৰ লগত কথা হৈ তেওঁক কোৱা, “যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: চোৱা, মই বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ হাতত এই নগৰখন সমৰ্পণ কৰিম, আৰু তেওঁ এই নগৰখন জুইৰে দগ্ধ কৰিব;
3 You will not escape out of his hand, but will surely be taken and delivered into his hand. Your eyes will see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he will speak with you mouth to mouth. You will go to Babylon.”’
৩আৰু তুমি তেওঁৰ হাতৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা নাপাবা, কিন্তু নিশ্চয়ে ধৰা পৰি তেওঁৰ হাতত সমৰ্পিত হ’বা; তুমি যেতিয়া বাবিললৈ যাবা তেতিয়া তোমাৰ চকুৱে বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ চকুৱে চকুৱে দেখিব, আৰু তেওঁ সম্মুখা-সম্মুখী হৈ তোমাৰ লগত কথা হ’ব।’
4 “Yet hear the LORD’s word, O Zedekiah king of Judah. The LORD says concerning you, ‘You will not die by the sword.
৪হে যিহূদাৰ ৰজা চিদিকিয়া, তুমি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা! যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ বিষয়ে এইদৰে কৈছে: ‘তুমি তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই নমৰিবা;
5 You will die in peace; and with the burnings of your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so they will make a burning for you. They will lament you, saying, “Ah Lord!” for I have spoken the word,’ says the LORD.”
৫তুমি শান্তিৰে মৰিবা। তোমাৰ আগেয়ে হোৱা তোমাৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষ ৰজাসকলৰ কাৰণে লোকসকলে যেনেকৈ সুগন্ধি দ্ৰব্য জ্বলাইছিল, তেনেকৈ তোমাৰ বাবেও জ্বলাব, আৰু তেওঁলোকে “হায় প্ৰভু” এই বুলি কৈ তোমাৰ কাৰণে বিলাপ কৰিব; কিয়নো এতিয়া মই এই কথা কলোঁ। এয়ে যিহোৱাৰ ঘোষণা’।”
6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,

7 when the king of Babylon’s army was fighting against Jerusalem and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these alone remained of the cities of Judah as fortified cities.
৭সেই কালত বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ সৈন্যসামন্তই যিৰূচালেম আৰু যিহূদাৰ অৱশিষ্ট আটাই নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে, লাখীচ আৰু অজেকাৰ অহিতে যুদ্ধ কৰিছিল; কিয়নো যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰৰ মাজত কেৱল এই দুখনহে গড়েৰে আবৃত নগৰ অৱশিষ্ট আছিল।
8 The word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people who were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty to them,
৮বন্দী-বেটীৰ আগত মুক্তি ঘোষণা কৰিবলৈ, চিদিকিয়া ৰজাই যিৰূচালেমত থকা আটাই প্ৰজাৰে সৈতে এটি নিয়ম স্থাপন কৰাৰ পাছত, যিহোৱাৰ পৰা যিৰিমিয়ালৈ এই বাক্য আহিল -
9 that every man should let his male servant, and every man his female servant, who is a Hebrew or a Hebrewess, go free, that no one should make bondservants of them, of a Jew his brother.
৯সেই নিয়মটি এই, যে, প্ৰত্যেক মানুহে নিজ ইব্ৰী বন্দী বা বেটিক মুকলি কৰি দিব, অৰ্থাৎ কোনো এজন যিহুদী লগৰীয়াক আৰু কেতিয়াও বন্দী-কাম নকৰাব।
10 All the princes and all the people obeyed who had entered into the covenant, that everyone should let his male servant and everyone his female servant go free, that no one should make bondservants of them any more. They obeyed and let them go,
১০তেতিয়া সকলো প্ৰধান লোক আৰু আটাই প্ৰজা এই নিয়মটিত মান্তি হ’ল। প্ৰত্যেকে নিজৰ বন্দীক আৰু নিজৰ বেটীক মুকলি কৰি দিব আৰু কোনেও যেন তেওঁলোকক আৰু কেতিয়াও বন্দী-কাম নকৰাব। লোকসকলে এই নিয়মটিত মান্তি হৈ তেওঁলোকক এৰি দিলে।
11 but afterwards they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids whom they had let go free to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.
১১কিন্তু পাছত তেওঁলোকে মন ঘূৰালে, আৰু তেওঁলোকে মুকলি কৰি দিয়া বন্দী-বেটীসকলক ঘূৰাই আনিলে আৰু নিজৰ বন্দী-বেটী কৰিবলৈ তেওঁলোকক বশীভুত কৰিলে।
12 Therefore the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
১২এই কাৰণে যিহোৱাৰ পৰা যিৰিমিয়াৰ ওচৰলৈ এই বাক্য আহিল বোলে,
13 “The LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying:
১৩“ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: বন্দীঘৰস্বৰূপ মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক উলিয়াই অনা দিনা ময়েই তেওঁলোকৰ লগত নিয়ম এটি স্থিৰ কৰিছিলোঁ। তেতিয়া মই কৈছিলোঁ যে,
14 At the end of seven years, every man of you shall release his brother who is a Hebrew, who has been sold to you, and has served you six years. You shall let him go free from you. But your fathers did not listen to me, and did not incline their ear.
১৪‘তোমালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ইব্ৰী ভাইক সপ্তম বছৰৰ মূৰত এৰি দিবা, যি জন তোমাৰ হাতত বেচা হ’ল, আৰু তোমাৰ অধীনত ছবছৰ সেৱা কৰিলে, তুমি তাক মুকলি কৰি তোমাৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা বিদাই দিবা।’ কিন্তু তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে মোৰ কথা নামানিলে, আৰু কাণো নাপাতিলে।
15 You had now turned, and had done that which is right in my eyes, in every man proclaiming liberty to his neighbor. You had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name;
১৫সম্প্ৰতি তোমালোকে মন ঘূৰাই প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ আগত মুক্তি ঘোষণা কৰি, মোৰ দৃষ্টিত যি ন্যায়, তাকে কৰিছিলা, আৰু মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত গৃহত মোৰ আগত এটি নিয়ম স্থাপন কৰিছিলা।
16 but you turned and profaned my name, and every man caused his servant and every man his handmaid, whom you had let go free at their pleasure, to return. You brought them into subjection, to be to you for servants and for handmaids.’”
১৬কিন্তু তোমালোকে আকৌ মন ঘূৰাই মোৰ নাম অপবিত্ৰ কৰিলা, আৰু যি বন্দী-বেটীসকলক নিজ ইচ্ছামতে যাবলৈ এৰি দিছিলা, তোমালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ সেই বন্দী-বেটীক ওলোটাই আনি তেওঁলোকক আকৌ বন্দী-বেটী কৰিবলৈ বশীভুত কৰিলা।”
17 Therefore the LORD says: “You have not listened to me, to proclaim liberty, every man to his brother, and every man to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim to you a liberty,” says the LORD, “to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine. I will make you be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.
১৭এই কাৰণে যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “তোমালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ভাইৰ আগত, প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ আগত মুক্তি ঘোষণা কৰিবলৈ মোলৈ কাণ নিদিলা; গতিকে চোৱা, মই এতিয়া তোমালোকৰ মুক্তি ঘোষণা কৰিম” - যিহোৱাৰ ঘোষণা এই, মইও তৰোৱাল, মহামাৰী, আৰু আকাললৈ তোমালোকৰ আগত মুক্তি ঘোষণা কৰিছোঁ, আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো ৰাজ্যৰ মাজত তোমালোকক ত্ৰাসৰ বিষয় কৰিম।
18 I will give the men who have transgressed my covenant, who have not performed the words of the covenant which they made before me when they cut the calf in two and passed between its parts:

19 the princes of Judah, the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, the priests, and all the people of the land, who passed between the parts of the calf.
১৯তেতিয়া দামুৰিৰ অংশৰ মাজেদি যিহূদা আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ প্ৰধান লোক, নপুংসক, পুৰোহিতসকল আৰু দেশৰ সকলো প্ৰজাই গমন কৰিলে।
20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their life. Their dead bodies will be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.
২০মই তেওঁলোকক তেওঁলোকৰ শত্ৰূবোৰ আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰাণ ল’বলৈ বিচাৰি ফুৰাবোৰৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম। তেওঁলোকৰ মৰা শৱ আকাশৰ চৰাইবোৰৰ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ জন্তুবোৰৰ আহাৰ হ’ব।
21 “I will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes into the hands of their enemies, into the hands of those who seek their life and into the hands of the king of Babylon’s army, who has gone away from you.
২১সেই কাৰণে মই যিহূদাৰ ৰজা চিদিকিয়াক আৰু তেওঁৰ প্ৰধান লোকসকলক তেওঁলোকৰ শত্ৰূবোৰৰ হাতত, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰাণ ল’বলৈ বিচাৰি ফুৰাবোৰৰ হাতত, আৰু তোমালোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠি যোৱা বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ সৈন্যসামন্তৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিম।
22 Behold, I will command,” says the LORD, “and cause them to return to this city. They will fight against it, take it, and burn it with fire. I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.”
২২চোৱা, মই তোমালোকক এটা আজ্ঞা কৰিম” - এয়ে যিহোৱাৰ ঘোষণা - মই তেওঁলোকক পুনৰায় এই নগৰৰ অহিতে যুদ্ধ কৰি, ইয়াক হাত কৰি লৈ, জুই দি পুৰিবলৈ, তেওঁলোকক এই নগৰলৈ ঘূৰাই আনিম। কিয়নো মই যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰ নিবাসী-শূন্য ধ্বংসস্থান কৰিম।
