Jeremiah 15
1 Then the LORD said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not turn toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go out!
౧అప్పుడు యెహోవా నాకిలా చెప్పాడు. “మోషే అయినా సమూయేలైనా నా ఎదుట నిలబడినప్పటికీ ఈ ప్రజలను అంగీకరించడానికి నాకు మనస్సు ఒప్పుకోదు. నా దగ్గర నుంచి వాళ్ళను వెళ్లగొట్టు. వాళ్ళను వెళ్లనియ్యి.”
2 It will happen when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go out?’ then you shall tell them, ‘The LORD says: “Such as are for death, to death; such as are for the sword, to the sword; such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.”’
౨“మేమెక్కడికి వెళ్ళాలి?” అని వాళ్ళు నిన్నడితే నువ్వు వాళ్ళతో ఇలా చెప్పు. “యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిస్తున్నాడు, చావు కోసం ఏర్పాటైన వాళ్ళు చావుకూ, కత్తి కోసం ఏర్పాటైన వాళ్ళు కత్తికీ, కరువు కోసం ఏర్పాటైన వాళ్ళు కరువుకూ, చెరకు ఏర్పాటైన వాళ్ళు చెరకూ వెళ్ళాలి.
3 “I will appoint over them four kinds,” says the LORD: “the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, the birds of the sky, and the animals of the earth, to devour and to destroy.
౩చంపడానికి కత్తినీ, చీల్చడానికి కుక్కలనూ, తినివేయడానికీ నాశనం చేయడానికీ ఆకాశ పక్షులనూ, భూమి మీద తిరిగే మృగాలనూ పంపిస్తాను. ఈ నాలుగు రకాల బాధలు వారికి వస్తాయి.” ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
4 I will cause them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
౪యూదా రాజు హిజ్కియా కొడుకు మనష్షే యెరూషలేములో చేసిన పనులను బట్టి భూమి మీద ఉన్న రాజ్యాలన్నిటికీ భీతి కలిగేలా చేస్తాను.
5 For who will have pity on you, Jerusalem? Who will mourn you? Who will come to ask of your welfare?
౫యెరూషలేమా, నిన్ను ఎవరు కనికరిస్తారు? నీ గురించి ఎవరు ఏడుస్తారు? నీ బాగోగులు ఎవరు పట్టించుకుంటారు? ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
6 You have rejected me,” says the LORD. “You have gone backward. Therefore I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you. I am weary of showing compassion.
౬నువ్వు నన్ను వదిలేసావు. నా దగ్గర నుంచి వెళ్ళిపోయావు. కాబట్టి నా చేత్తో నిన్ను కొడతాను. నిన్ను నాశనం చేస్తాను. నీ మీద జాలిపడి విసిగిపోయాను.
7 I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land. I have bereaved them of children. I have destroyed my people. They did not return from their ways.
౭దేశం గుమ్మాల్లో నేను వారిని చేటతో తూర్పారపడతాను. నా ప్రజలు తమ పద్ధతులను విడిచి నా దగ్గరికి రావడం లేదు కాబట్టి వాళ్ళను నాశనం చేస్తాను. వారికి వియోగం కలిగిస్తాను.
8 Their widows are increased more than the sand of the seas. I have brought on them against the mother of the young men a destroyer at noonday. I have caused anguish and terrors to fall on her suddenly.
౮వారి వితంతువుల సంఖ్య సముద్రతీరాన ఇసుక కంటే ఎక్కువయ్యేలా చేస్తాను. నేను మధ్యాహ్నం సమయంలో యువకుల తల్లుల మీదికి నాశనం చేసేవాణ్ణి పంపిస్తాను. వారి మీదికి భయం, దిగ్భ్రాంతి ఆకస్మాత్తుగా రప్పిస్తాను.
9 She who has borne seven languishes. She has given up the spirit. Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been disappointed and confounded. I will deliver their residue to the sword before their enemies,” says the LORD.
౯ఏడుగురిని కనిన స్త్రీ నీరసించి ప్రాణం విడుస్తుంది. పగటి సమయం ఇంకా ఉండగానే ఆమె పొద్దు ముగుస్తుంది. ఆమె సిగ్గుతో అవమానం పాలవుతుంది. మిగిలిన వారిని తమ శత్రువుల ఎదుట కత్తిపాలు చేస్తాను. ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
10 Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife, and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; yet every one of them curses me.
౧౦అయ్యో నాకెంతో బాధ! అమ్మా! దేశస్థులందరితో కలహాలు పెట్టుకునేవాడిగా నన్ను కన్నావు. నేనెవరికీ అప్పివ్వలేదు, అప్పు తీసుకోలేదు. అయినా వారంతా నన్ను దూషిస్తున్నారు.
11 The LORD said, “Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
౧౧అందుకు యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “మంచి కోసం నేను నిన్ను తప్పించనా? తప్పకుండా విపత్తులో బాధలో నీ శత్రువులు నీ సాయాన్ని అర్థించేలా చేస్తాను.
12 Can one break iron, even iron from the north, and bronze?
౧౨ఇనుమును, మరి ముఖ్యంగా ఉత్తర దేశం నుంచి వచ్చిన కంచు కలిసిన ఇనుమును ఎవడైనా విరగ గొట్టగలడా?
13 I will give your substance and your treasures for a plunder without price, and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.
౧౩మీ ప్రాంతాలన్నిటిలో మీరు చేసే పాపాలన్నిటికీ మీ సంపదనూ మీ విలువైన వస్తువులనూ నేను దోపుడు సొమ్ముగా అప్పగిస్తాను.
14 I will make them to pass with your enemies into a land which you do not know; for a fire is kindled in my anger, which will burn on you.”
౧౪నువ్వెరుగని దేశంలో మీ శత్రువులకు మిమ్మల్ని బానిసలుగా చేస్తాను. నా కోపం మంటల్లాగా రగులుకుంది. అది మిమ్మల్ని దహిస్తుంది.
15 LORD, you know. Remember me, visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. You are patient, so do not take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach.
౧౫యెహోవా, నా బాధ నీకే తెలుసు. నన్ను గుర్తు చేసుకుని సాయం చెయ్యి. నన్ను బాధించే వారి మీద నా కోసం ప్రతీకారం చెయ్యి. నువ్వు ఓర్పు వహించి నన్ను తీసుకుపోవద్దు. నీ కోసమే నేను నింద భరిస్తున్నానని గుర్తు చేసుకో.
16 Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, LORD, God of Armies.
౧౬సేనల ప్రభువైన యెహోవా, నేను నీ పేరు పెట్టుకున్నాను. నీ మాటలు నాకు దొరికితే నేను వాటిని తిన్నాను. నీ మాటలు నాకెంతో సంతోషంగా హృదయానందంగా ఉన్నాయి.
17 I did not sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.
౧౭వేడుక చేసుకునే వాళ్ళ గుంపులో నేను కూర్చుని సంతోషించలేదు. నీ బలమైన చెయ్యి నా మీద ఉంది. కడుపుమంటతో నువ్వు నన్ను నింపావు. కాబట్టి, నేను ఒంటరిగా కూర్చున్నాను.
18 Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?
౧౮నా బాధకు అంతం లేదెందుకు? నా గాయం ఎందుకు ఘోరమై నయం కాకుండా ఉంది? నువ్వు నాకు మోసజలం లాగా, ఇంకిపోయే ఊటలాగా ఉంటావా?”
19 Therefore the LORD says, “If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.
౧౯అప్పుడు యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “యిర్మీయా, నువ్వు నావైపు తిరిగితే నువ్వు నా సన్నిధిని నిలిచేలా నేను నిన్ను తిరిగి రప్పిస్తాను. యోగ్యమైన వాటిలో నుంచి పనికిమాలిన వాటిని నువ్వు తీసేస్తే నా నోటిలాగా నువ్వుంటావు. ప్రజలు నీవైపుకు తిరుగుతారు. అయితే నువ్వు వారి వైపుకు తిరగకూడదు.
20 I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall. They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” says the LORD.
౨౦నేను నిన్ను ఈ ప్రజలకు అభేధ్యమైన కంచుకోటగా చేస్తాను. వాళ్ళు నీ మీద యుద్ధం చేస్తారు గాని నిన్ను గెలవలేరు. నిన్ను రక్షించడానికి, నిన్ను విడిపించడానికి నేను నీకు తోడై ఉంటాను. ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
21 “I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”
౨౧నేను నిన్ను దుర్మార్గుల చేతిలోనుంచి విడిపిస్తాను. నిరంకుశుల బారినుంచి నిన్ను విమోచిస్తాను.”
