< Isaiah 63 >
1 Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Onye bụ onye a si nʼEdọm na-abịa, onye si Bozra, nke uwe ya dị ọbara ọbara? Onye bụ onye a, yi uwe mara oke mma, onye na-azọ ije dịka ịba ụba nke ike ya si dị? “Ọ bu mụ onwe m, onye na-ekwu okwu nʼezi omume, onye dị ike ịzọpụta!”
2 Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
Gịnị mere uwe gị ji na-acha ọbara ọbara, dịka uwe onye na-azọcha mkpụrụ vaịnị?
3 “I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
“Azọchaala m ebe ịzọcha mkpụrụ vaịnị, naanị m zọchara ya; o nweghị onye sị na mba niile dị iche iche bịa nyere m aka. Azọchara m ha nʼiwe m, zọpịasịakwa ha nʼime oke ọnụma m; ọbara ha gbasasịrị nʼuwe m, ma metọsịa uwe m niile.
4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
Nʼihi na ọ bụ ụbọchị m ji abọ ọbọ; afọ mgbapụta m kwadoro eruola.
5 I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. My own wrath upheld me.
Elere m anya ma o nweghị onye bịara inyere m aka. O juru m anya, jukwa m ọnụ, na o nweghị onye pụtara inyere m aka. Nʼihi ya, aka m wetara m mmeri. Ọ bụkwa ọnụma juru m obi gbara m ume imezu ya.
6 I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath. I poured their lifeblood out on the earth.”
Nʼiwe m, azọpịara mba niile dị iche iche; esitere m nʼọnụma juru m obi zọpịasịa ha. Emekwara ka ọbara ndụ ha bụrụ ihe a wụsiri nʼala.”
7 I will tell of the loving kindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
Aga m ekwupụta ihe banyere ịhụnanya Onyenwe anyị. Aga m eto ya nʼihi ihe niile o mere. Aga m aṅụrị ọṅụ nʼihi ịdị mma ya nʼebe Izrel nọ, e, nʼihi ọtụtụ ihe ọma o mere nʼihi mmeso ọma niile o mesoro ụlọ Izrel, nke ọ na-emeso ha dịka obi ebere ya na ọmịiko ya si dị.
8 For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their Savior.
Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị sịrị, “Ndị a bụ nke m; e, ha agakwaghị agọnarị m ọzọ.” Ya mere, ọ ghọọrọ ha Onye nzọpụta.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
10 But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
Ma ha nupuru isi megide ya, meekwa ka obi jọọ Mmụọ Nsọ ya njọ. Ọ bụ ya mere o ji ghọọ onye iro ha, lụsokwa ha ọgụ nʼonwe ya.
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among them?”
12 Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
Olee onye ahụ ike ya mere ka osimiri kewaa abụọ nʼihu ha, mgbe Mosis weliri aka ya elu, meekwa ka aha ya dịgide ruo ebighị ebi?
13 Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble?
Onye duuru ha gafee mmiri dị oke omimi? Dịka ịnyịnya na-agba ọsọ nʼọzara, ike agwụghị ha.
14 As the livestock that go down into the valley, the LORD’s Spirit caused them to rest. So you led your people to make yourself a glorious name.
Dịka ehi na-ata ahịhịa na ndagwurugwu, Mmụọ Onyenwe anyị nyere ha izuike. Otu a ka i si duo ndị gị, ime ka aha gị bụrụ ihe a na-asọpụrụ asọpụrụ.
15 Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained toward me.
Onyenwe anyị, biko site nʼeluigwe, ebe obibi nsọ gị, lee anyị anya. Olee ebe nʼịnụ ọkụ nʼobi na ike gị dị? Olee ebe obi ebere gị na ọmịiko gị dịkwa?
16 For you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, LORD, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
Ma gị onwe gị, bụ Nna anyị, a sịkwarị na Ebraham amaghị anyị maọbụ Izrel agọnarị anyị, gị onwe gị, Onyenwe anyị, bụ Nna anyị, onye Mgbapụta anyị ka ị na-azakwa siterị na mgbe ochie.
17 O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
Onyenwe anyị, gịnị mere i ji na-eme ka anyị si nʼụzọ gị kpafuo na-eme ka obi anyị sie ike otu a, na anyị adịghị atụ egwu gị? Lọghachi nʼihi ndị ohu gị, nʼihi ebo ndị ahụ bụ ihe nketa gị.
18 Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
Ọ bụ naanị nwa oge nta ka ndị gị nwetara ebe nsọ gị, ma ugbu a, ndị iro anyị azọdala ebe nsọ gị.
19 We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.
Anyị bụ nke gị site na mgbe ochie, ma ị naghị achị nʼebe ha nọ, ha bụ ndị a na-akpọkwasịghịkwa aha gị.
