< Isaiah 6 >

1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
Nʼafọ ahụ, mgbe eze bụ Ụzaya nwụrụ, ahụrụ m Onyenwe anyị ka ọ nọ nʼocheeze ya dị oke elu. Ọnụ ọnụ ala uwe ya jupụtara ụlọnsọ ukwuu ya.
2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
Ndị na-erugharị nʼelu ocheeze ya bụ ndị mmụọ ozi a na-akpọ seraf, ndị nwere nku isii. Ha ji nku ha abụọ kpuchie ihu ha; abụọ ka ha ji kpuchie ụkwụ ha, abụọ nke fọdụrụ ka ha ji na-efegharị.
3 One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”
Ha na-abụrịtara onwe ha abụ, sị, “Nsọ, Nsọ, Nsọ, ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile dị. Ụwa niile jupụtara nʼebube ya.”
4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
Nʼihi ụda olu ha, ọnụ ụzọ na mgbidi ụlọnsọ mara jijiji, ụlọ ahụ jupụtara nʼanwụrụ ọkụ.
5 Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Armies!”
Etiri m mkpu akwa sị. “Ewoo! Onye nwụrụ anwụ ka m bụ, nʼihi na onye mmehie ka m bụ, egbugbere ọnụ m bụ egbugbere ọnụ rụrụ arụ; ọ bụkwa nʼetiti ndị egbugbere ọnụ ha rụrụ arụ ka m bi. Ugbu a, ejirila m anya m hụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, onye bụ Eze ukwu ahụ!”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
Mgbe ahụ, otu nʼime seraf ndị ahụ sitere nʼebe ọ nọ fekwute m, were mkpa gụta otu icheku dị ọkụ site nʼebe ịchụ aja.
7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
O weere icheku ọkụ ahụ sọtụ m nʼọnụ, sị m, “Ugbu a, a gụọla gị dịka onye dị ọcha, nʼihi na icheku a emetụla gị nʼọnụ. A gbagharakwala gị mmehie gị niile.”
8 I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
Mgbe ahụ, anụrụ m olu Onyenwe anyị ka ọ na-ajụ, “Onye ka m ga-eziga? Onye ga-ejekwara anyị?” Asịrị m, “Lee m, ziga m.”
9 He said, “Go, and tell this people, ‘You hear indeed, but do not understand. You see indeed, but do not perceive.’
Ọ siri, “Gaa gwa ndị a sị, “‘Na-anụnụ, ma unu aghọtala, na-elenụ anya ma unu ahụla.’
10 Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”
11 Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities are waste without inhabitant, houses without man, the land becomes utterly waste,
Ma ekwuru m sị, “Onyenwe m, ọ bụ ruo ole mgbe?” Ọ zara, “Ọ bụ ruo mgbe obodo ha tọgbọrọ nʼefu, mgbe ọ na-adịghị onye ga-afọdụ nʼime ya; mgbe ụlọ obibi ha niile ga-atọgbọrọ nʼefu, mgbe e bibisịrị ala ubi ha niile.
12 and the LORD has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many within the land.
Ọ bụ ruo mgbe Onyenwe anyị zigara onye ọbụla gaa ebe dị anya, ala niile atọgbọkwara nʼefu.
13 If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
Ma ọ bụrụkwa na otu ụzọ nʼime ụzọ iri nʼime ha niile afọdụ nʼala a, a ga-eme ka ọ laa nʼiyi. Ma dịka osisi terebint na osisi ook na-ahapụ ogwe mgbe e gbujiri ha, ya mere mkpụrụ nsọ ahụ ga-abụ ogwe osisi nʼala ahụ.”
