< Isaiah 53 >
1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD’s arm been revealed?
En ngʼa moseyie wach ma walando, koso en ngʼa ma Jehova Nyasaye osenyiso tekone?
2 For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Nodongo e nyime mana ka chuny yath mayom matwi; kendo mana ka tiend yath madongo kaa e lowo motwo. Ne oonge gi chia kata duongʼ moro mane nyalo lombo wangʼwa kuome, kendo onge gima ne nenore kuome maber mane nyalo miyo wahere.
3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we did not respect him.
Ne ojare mokwede gi oganda, en ngʼat mane neno chandruok mangʼeny, kendo mosiko kawinjo rem. Ji nojare kendo wan bende ne ok wamiye luor, mana ka ngʼama ok dwar neno.
4 Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
Adier, notingʼo sandruok-wa kendo chandruokwa ema ne ture, kata kamano wan to ne waparo ni kum mane oyudo, sandruok kod chandruok noa kuom Nyasaye.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
To kare ne ochwowe mana nikech kethowa, nosande malit nikech richowa; kum mane oyudo kuome ema nokelnwa kwe, kendo moriemo mage ema nochangowa.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Wan duto, waselal mana ka rombe, ka ngʼato ochomo mana yore owuon; kendo Jehova Nyasaye oseketo kuome richowa duto.
7 He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he did not open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
Nosande kichwade malit to ne ok otingʼo dhoge; notere kar thone mana ka rombo mitero kar yengʼo, kendo nolingʼ ka rombo manie lwet joma ngʼado yiere, omiyo en bende ne ok otingʼo dhoge.
8 He was taken away by oppression and judgment. As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?
Ne oyale angʼaya kendo nongʼadne bura molal kode. To en ngʼa manyalo wuoyo kuom gunde? Nimar nogole e piny joma ngima, kendo nolal kode nikech richo mag jowa.
9 They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
Ne okete e bur e kind joricho kendo gi jo-mwandu e thone, kata obedo ni ne ok otimo tim mahundu moro amora bende miriambo nine ok owuok e dhoge.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.
To kata kamano ne en dwaro Jehova Nyasaye mondo sande malit koyudo chandruok, kendo Jehova Nyasaye nochiwo ngimane mondo obed misango mar pwodhruok e ketho, to enone nyikwaye kendo omedne ndalo, kendo dwaro mar Nyasaye nochop kare nikech en.
11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.
Bangʼ chandruokne duto enone ler mar ngima kendo noyud mor e chunye; kuom riekone, jatichna makare nongʼad bura makare ne ji mangʼeny kendo notingʼ richogi.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. He will divide the plunder with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
Kuom mano abiro miye pok e kind thuondi kendo enopog gik moyaki gi rateke, nikech ne ochiwo ngimane nyaka tho mine okwane kod joketho. Nimar notingʼo richo ji mangʼeny kendo nochungʼ kar joricho e nyim Nyasaye.
