Isaiah 22
1 The burden of the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
१दृष्टांताच्या खोऱ्याविषयी ही देववाणी; तुम्ही सर्व घरच्या माळीवर जात आहा, त्याचे काय कारण आहे?
2 You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town, your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
२एक गोंगाटाने भरलेले शहर, आंनदाने भरलेली नगरी, तुझ्यातील जे तलवारीने ठार केलेले नाहीत आणि जे युद्धात मारले गेले नाहीत.
3 All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
३तुझे सर्व अधिकारी एकत्र होऊन पळाले, त्यांना धनुर्धारांनी धरले आहे, तुझ्यामध्ये जे सापडले त्या सर्वांना त्यांनी एकवट करून बांधले, ते दूर पळाले आहेत.
4 Therefore I said, “Look away from me. I will weep bitterly. Do not labor to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
४यास्तव मी म्हणालो, माझ्याकडे पाहू नका, मी कष्टाने रडेन, माझ्या लोकांच्या मुलीच्या नाशाबद्दल माझे सांत्वन करु नका.
5 For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity from the Lord, GOD of Armies, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.”
५कारण हा गोंगाटाचा, पायाखाली तुडवण्याचा आणि गडबडीचा दिवस सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, प्रभू याजकडून दृष्टांताच्या खोऱ्यात आला आहे. त्या दिवशी लोक भिंती फोडतील आणि डोंगराकडे ओरडतील.
6 Elam carried his quiver, with chariots of men and horsemen; and Kir uncovered the shield.
६एलामाने मनुष्यांचा रथ आणि घोडेस्वार घेऊन बाणांचा भाता वाहिला, आणि कीराने ढाल उघडी केली.
7 Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen set themselves in array at the gate.
७आणि असे झाले की तुझे निवडलेले खोरे रथांनी भरून गेले आणि घोडस्वार वेशींजवळ आपापली जागा घेतील.
8 He took away the covering of Judah; and you looked in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
८त्याने यहूदावरील रक्षण काढून घेतले आहे, आणि त्या दिवशी तू वनांतील घरांत शस्त्रांवर दृष्टी लावली.
9 You saw the breaches of David’s city, that they were many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
९दाविदाच्या नगराला पुष्कळ भगदाडे पडलेली तुम्ही पाहिले आहे, आणि तुम्ही खालच्या तळ्यातील पाणी जमा केले.
10 You counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.
१०तू यरूशलेमेच्या घरांची मोजदाद केली, आणि भिंत बळकट करण्यासाठी तू घरे फोडली.
11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to him who had done this, neither did you have respect for him who planned it long ago.
११दोन भिंतीच्या मध्ये हौद बांधून जुन्या तळ्याच्या पाण्यासाठी सोय केली. पण तू शहर बांधनाऱ्याचा विचार केला नाही, ज्याने त्या बद्दल पूर्वीच योजिले होते.
12 In that day, the Lord, GOD of Armies, called to weeping, to mourning, to baldness, and to dressing in sackcloth;
१२त्या दिवसात सेनाधीश परमेश्वर म्हणाला, रडावे, शोक करावा व टक्कल पाडावे आणि गोणताट घालावे.
13 and behold, there is joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine: “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
१३परंतू त्याऐवजी, पाहा, उत्सव आणि हर्ष, बैल मारणे, मेंढरे कापणे, मांस खाणे व द्राक्षरस पिणे चालले आहे. आपण खाऊ व पिऊ, कारण उद्या आपल्याला मरायचेच आहे.
14 The LORD of Armies revealed himself in my ears, “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
१४आणि सैन्याच्या परमेश्वराने माझ्या कानात हे सांगितले की, जरी तू मेलास, तरी या तुझ्या पापांची क्षमा केली जाणार नाही. सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
15 The Lord, GOD of Armies says, “Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
१५सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, प्रभू असे म्हणतो, हा कारभारी शेबना, जो राजाच्या घरावर नेमला आहे, त्याकडे जा व त्यास बोल;
16 ‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!”
१६तू येथे काय करीत आहेस? तू कोण आहेस? जसा कोणी आपली कबर उंच ठिकाणांत खोदतो आणि आपले राहण्याचे स्थान खडकामध्ये करतो तशी तू आपणासाठी कबर खोदीत आहेस.
17 Behold, the LORD will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
१७पाहा, परमेश्वर पराक्रमी मनुष्यासारखा तुला फेकून देईल आणि तुला घट्ट धरील.
18 He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you disgrace of your lord’s house.
१८तो तुला गुंडाळून चेंडुसारखा मोठ्या देशात फेकून देईन, तू आपल्या धन्याच्या घरात अप्रतिष्ठा असा आहेस तो तू मरशील, आणि तुझ्या गौरवाचे रथ तेथेच राहतील.
19 I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
१९प्रभू परमेश्वर म्हणतो मी तुला उच्च पदावरून काढून टाकिल तुझे उच्च पद हिसकावून घेईल. तू खाली ओढला जाशील.
20 It will happen in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
२०आणि त्या दिवशी असे होईल हिल्कीयाचा पुत्र एल्याकीम यास मी बोलावीन.
21 and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
२१तुझा झगा मी त्यास घालीन आणि तुझा कमरबंध त्यास देईन व तुझे अधिकर मी त्याच्या हाती देईन. यरूशलेमेच्या राहणाऱ्यांना व यहूदाच्या घराण्याला पिता असा होईल.
22 I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
२२दाविदाच्या घराण्याची किल्ली मी त्याच्या खांद्यावर ठेवीन, तो उघडील आणि कोणीच ते बंद करणार नाही, आणि जे काही बंद करील ते कोणीच उघडू शकणार नाही.
23 I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father’s house.
२३त्यास मी सुरक्षीत ठिकाणी खिळ्याप्रमाणे पक्का करीन, आणि तो आपल्या पित्याच्या घराला वैभवशाली राजासन असे होईल.
24 They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the pitchers.
२४त्याच्या पित्याच्या घराण्यातील सर्व गौरव, मुले व संतती, सर्व लहान पात्रे, पेल्यापासून सुरईपर्यंत सर्व भांडी तिच्यावर टांगून ठेवतील.
25 “In that day,” says the LORD of Armies, “the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken it.”
२५सेनाधीश परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, मग असे घडेल की, भिंतीत पक्का केलेला खिळा असतो तो शिळ्या जवळ ढिला होउन पडेल व जो भार तिच्यावर होता तो छेदला जाईल, कारण परमेश्वर हे बोलला आहे.
