< Hosea 14 >
1 Israel, return to the LORD your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
Ao Israel, sane wʼakyi kɔ Awurade wo Onyankopɔn nkyɛn. Wʼahweaseɛ firi wo bɔne!
2 Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
Fa wo nsɛm a wowɔ sane kɔ Awurade nkyɛn. Ka kyerɛ no sɛ, “Fa yɛn bɔne nyinaa kyɛ yɛn, na fa ahummɔborɔ gye yɛn, na yɛatumi ayi wo ayɛ.
3 Assyria cannot save us. We will not ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
Asiria rentumi nnye yɛn; yɛrentena akofoɔ apɔnkɔ so. Yɛrenka bio da sɛ, ‘Yɛn anyame’ nkyerɛ deɛ yɛn ara de yɛn nsa ayɛ, na wo mu na nwisiaa nya ahummɔborɔ.”
4 “I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
“Mɛsa wɔn asobrakyeɛ yadeɛ. Mɛfiri mʼakoma mu adɔ wɔn, ɛfiri sɛ mʼabufuo nni wɔn so bio.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
Mɛyɛ sɛ obosuo ama Israel. Ɔbɛfefɛ ayɛ frɔmm te sɛ sukooko. Te sɛ Lebanon ntweneduro no ɔde ne nhini bɛtim fam;
6 His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
ne mman bɛdennan. Nʼahoɔfɛ bɛyɛ sɛ ngo dua, na ne hwa ayɛ sɛ Lebanon ntweneduro.
7 Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
Nnipa bɛtena ne nwunu ase bio. Ɔbɛnyini ayɛ frɔmm te sɛ aburoo. Ɔbɛfefɛ ayɛ frɔmm te sɛ bobe, na ne din a ahyeta bɛyɛ sɛ nsã a ɛfiri Lebanon.
8 Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
Ao, Efraim ɛdeɛn na me ne ahoni wɔ yɛ bio? Mɛgye no so na mʼani aku ne ho. Mete sɛ dua a nʼahahan mpo; sɛ wobɛso aba a, ɛgyina me so.”
9 Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
Hwan ne onyansafoɔ? Ɔbɛhunu yeinom mu. Hwan na ɔwɔ nhunumu? Ɔbɛte yeinom ase. Awurade akwan tene. Ateneneefoɔ nante so, nanso asoɔdenfoɔ sunti so.
