Hebrews 10
1 For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.
Ty lagen hafver skuggan af det tillkommande goda, och icke sjelfva varelsen. Årliga måste man offra alltid enahanda offer, och kan icke göra dem fullborda, som det offra;
2 Or else would not they have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?
Annars hade det återvändt offras; efter de, som så offra, hade sedan intet samvet haft af synder, när de hade ena reso varit rene gjorde;
3 But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.
Utan dermed sker en åminnelse på synderna hvart år;
4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
Ty omöjeligit är genom oxablod och bockablod borttaga synder.
5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “You did not desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.
Derföre, då han kommer i verldena, säger han: Offer och gåfvor hafver du icke velat; men kroppen hafver du mig beredt.
6 You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.
Bränneoffer och syndoffer behaga dig icke.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”
Då sade jag: Si, jag kommer; i bokene är skrifvet om mig, att jag skall göra din vilja, o Gud.
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you did not desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),
Tillförene, då han sade: Offer och gåfvor, bränneoffer och syndoffer hafver du icke velat; icke behaga de dig heller, hvilke efter lagen offras;
9 then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,
Då sade han: Si, jag kommer, till att göra, o Gud, din vilja. Der tager han det första bort, att han det andra insätta skall;
10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
I hvilkom vilja vi helgade ärom ena reso, genom Jesu Christi kropps offer.
11 Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,
Och hvar och en Prest är insatt, att han dageliga skall sköta Gudstjensten, och ofta offra enahanda offer, hvilka aldrig kunna borttaga synder.
12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,
Men denne, då han hade offrat ett offer för synderna, det evinnerliga gäller, sitter han på Guds högra hand;
13 from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.
Och väntar nu, tilldess hans ovänner lagde varda, honom till en fotapall.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Ty med ett offer hafver han evinnerliga fullkomnat dem, som helige varda.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,
Det betygar oss ock den Helge Ande; ty då han tillförene sagt hade:
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says,
Det är det Testamentet som jag dem göra vill, efter de dagar, säger Herren: Jag vill gifva min lag i deras hjerta, och i deras sinne vill jag skrifva dem;
17 “I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.”
Och deras synder och orättfärdighet vill jag icke mer ihågkomma.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Der nu sådana förlåtelse är, der är icke mer offer för synder.
19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
Efter vi nu hafve, käre bröder, frihet till att ingå uti det helga, genom Jesu blod;
20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh,
Hvilken han oss beredt hafver till en ny och lefvande väg, genom förlåten, det är, genom sitt kött;
21 and having a great priest over God’s house,
Och hafvom en öfversta Prest öfver Guds hus;
22 let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and having our body washed with pure water,
Så låt oss framgå med ett sannskyldigt hjerta, uti en fullkomlig tro, bestänkte i hjertan ifrån ett ondt samvet, och tvagne om kroppen med rent vatten.
23 let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Och låt oss hålla hoppsens bekännelse ovikliga; ty han är trofast, som det lofvat hafver.
24 Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,
Och låt oss akta på oss inbördes, till att uppväcka till kärlek och goda gerningar;
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Icke öfvergifvandes vår församling, såsom somlige för sed hafva; utan förmaner eder inbördes, och det dess mer, att I sen huru dagen nalkas.
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,
Ty om vi sjelfviljande syndom, sedan vi förstått hafve sanningen, då står oss intet offer igen för synderna;
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.
Utan en förskräckelig domsens förbidelse, och eldsens nit, som motståndarena förtära skall.
28 A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.
Ho som bryter Mosi lag, han måste dö utan barmhertighet, efter tu eller tre vittne.
29 How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
Huru mycket större näpst, menen I, förtjenar den som Guds Son förtrampar, och Testamentsens blod såsom orent aktar, genom hvilket han helgad är, och försmädar nådenes Anda?
30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me. I will repay,” says the Lord. Again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
Ty vi kännom den som sade: Hämnden är min; jag skall vedergällat, säger Herren; och åter: Herren skall döma sitt folk.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Det är gräseligit falla uti lefvandes Guds händer.
32 But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:
Men kommer ihåg de framledna dagar, i hvilkom I upplyste voren, och stoden en stor törning i bedröfvelsen;
33 partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions, and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.
Endels, då I sjelfve, genom hädelse och bedröfvelse, ett vidunder vorden; och endels, då I sällskap haden med dem, som det så går.
34 For you both had compassion on me in my chains and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.
Ty I hafven delaktige varit af de bedröfvelser, som af minom bojom gingo, och med fröjd lidit edra ägodelars försköfling, vetandes att I när eder sjelfva bättre och blifvande ägodelar hafven i himmelen.
35 Therefore do not throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
Så kaster icke nu bort edra tröst, som en stor lön hafver.
36 For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
Ty tålamodet är eder behof; på det I mågen göra Guds vilja, och få det som lofvadt är.
37 “In a very little while, he who comes will come and will not wait.
Ty ännu en liten tid, så kommer den som komma skall, och fördröjer icke.
38 But the righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
Men den rättfärdige skall lefva af tron; och hvilken sig undandrager, han skall icke behaga mine själ.
39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
Men vi ärom icke de, som oss undandrage till förtappelse; utan af dem som tro, och frälsa själena.
