< Hebrews 1 >

1 God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
Ní ìgbà àtijọ́, Ọlọ́run bá àwọn baba ńlá wa sọ̀rọ̀ láti ẹnu àwọn wòlíì ní ọ̀pọ̀ ìgbà àti ní onírúurú ọ̀nà,
2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages (aiōn g165).
ṣùgbọ́n ní ìgbà ìkẹyìn yìí Ọlọ́run ń bá wa sọ̀rọ̀ nípasẹ̀ Ọmọ rẹ̀ Jesu Kristi, ẹni tí ó fi ṣe ajogún ohun gbogbo, nípasẹ̀ ẹni tí ó dá gbogbo ayé yìí àti ohun gbogbo tí ń bẹ nínú rẹ̀. (aiōn g165)
3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Ọmọ tí í ṣe ìtànṣán ògo Ọlọ́run àti àwòrán òun tìkára rẹ̀, tí ó sì ń fi ọ̀rọ̀ agbára rẹ̀ mú ohun gbogbo dúró. Lẹ́yìn tí ó ti ṣe ìwẹ̀nù ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wa tan, ó wá jókòó ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún Ọláńlá ní òkè.
4 having become as much better than the angels as the more excellent name he has inherited is better than theirs.
Nítorí náà, ó sì ti fi bẹ́ẹ̀ di ẹni tí ó ga ní ipò ju angẹli lọ, bí ó ti jogún orúkọ èyí tí ó tayọ̀ tiwọn.
5 For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today I have become your father?” and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?”
Nítorí kò sí ọ̀kan nínú àwọn angẹli tí Ọlọ́run fi ìgbà kan sọ fún pé: “Ìwọ ni ọmọ mi; lónìí ni mo bí ọ”? Àti pẹ̀lú pé, “Èmi yóò jẹ́ baba fún un, Òun yóò sì jẹ́ ọmọ mi”?
6 When he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”
Àti pẹ̀lú, nígbà tí Ọlọ́run rán àkọ́bí rẹ̀ wá si ayé wa yìí. Ó pàṣẹ pé, “Ẹ jẹ́ kí gbogbo àwọn angẹli Ọlọ́run foríbalẹ̀ fún un.”
7 Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.”
Àti nípa ti àwọn angẹli, ó wí pé, “Ẹni tí ó dá àwọn angẹli rẹ̀ ní ẹ̀mí, àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ ní ọwọ́ iná.”
8 But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is for the age (aiōn g165) of the ages (aiōn g165). The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.
Ṣùgbọ́n ó sọ nípa tí Ọmọ rẹ̀ pé, “Ìtẹ́ rẹ, Ọlọ́run, láé àti láéláé ni, ọ̀pá aládé òdodo ni ọ̀pá ìjọba rẹ. (aiōn g165)
9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.”
Ìwọ fẹ́ òdodo, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ìwọ kórìíra iṣẹ́ búburú; nítorí èyí ni Ọlọ́run, àní Ọlọ́run rẹ ṣe fi àmì òróró ayọ̀ yàn ọ tí ó gbé ọ ju àwọn ẹgbẹ́ rẹ lọ.”
10 And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.
Ó tún sọ pé, “Ní àtètèkọ́ṣe, ìwọ Olúwa, ìwọ fi ìdí ayé sọlẹ̀, àwọn ọ̀run sì jẹ́ iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ ara rẹ.
11 They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.
Wọn yóò ṣègbé, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ yóò wà síbẹ̀ gbogbo wọn ni yóò di àkísà bí ẹ̀wù.
12 You will roll them up like a mantle, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.”
Ní kíká ni ìwọ yóò ká wọn bí aṣọ, bí ìpààrọ̀ aṣọ ni a ó sì pààrọ̀ wọn. Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ fúnra rẹ̀ kì yóò yípadà àti pé ọdún rẹ kì yóò ní òpin.”
13 But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?”
Èwo nínú àwọn angẹli ní a gbọ́ pé Ọlọ́run fi ìgbà kan wí fún pé, “Jókòó ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún mi títí èmi yóò fi sọ àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ di àpótí ìtìsẹ̀ rẹ”?
14 Are not they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
Kì í ha á ṣe ẹ̀mí tí ń jíṣẹ́ ni àwọn angẹli í ṣe bí; tí a rán lọ síta láti máa ṣiṣẹ́ fún àwọn tí yóò jogún ìgbàlà?
