Ezekiel 25

1 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,

Yehowa ƒe nya va nam be,

2 “Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.

“Ame vi, trɔ mo ɖe Amonitɔwo ŋu, eye nàgblɔ nya ɖi ɖe wo ŋu.

3 Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

Gblɔ na wo be, ‘Mise Aƒetɔ Yehowa ƒe nya. Nya si Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye, esi miegblɔ be, “Ahã” ɖe nye kɔkɔeƒe la ŋu le esime wodo gui, ɖe Israelnyigba ŋu esime wòzu gbegbe, eye ɖe Yuda ŋu esime woɖe aboyo eƒe amewo ta la,

4 therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.

matsɔ mi ade asi na Ɣedzeƒenyigbadzitɔwo, miazu wo tɔ. Woatso nɔƒe, eye woatu woƒe agbadɔwo ɖe mia dome; woaɖu miaƒe kutsetsewo, eye woano miaƒe notsi.

5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

Matrɔ Raba wòazu gbeɖuƒe na kposɔwo, eye Amoninyigba azu gbɔɖemeƒe na alẽwo. Ekema mianya be, nyee nye Yehowa.

6 For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,

Elabena alea Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔ: esi mieƒo asikpe, tu afɔ anyi le dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ me kple ta me vɔ̃ ɖoɖo le miaƒe dzi me ɖe Israelnyigba ŋu ta la,

7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”

mado nye asi ɖa ɖe mia ŋu, eye matsɔ mi ana dukɔwo abe nuhaha ene. Maɖe mi ɖa le dukɔwo dome, eye matsrɔ̃ mi le anyigbawo dzi. Matsrɔ̃ mi, eye mianya be nyee nye Yehowa.’”

8 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’

“Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Esi Moabtɔwo kple Seirtɔwo gblɔ be, “Kpɔ ɖa, Yuda ƒe aƒe zu abe dukɔ bubuwo ene” ta la,

9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

maɖe Moab ƒe abɔta ɖe go, madze egɔme tso liƒodziduwo, Bet Yesimot, Baal Meon kple Kiriataim, du siwo nye anyigba ma ƒe atsyɔ̃ la dzi.

10 to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

Matsɔ Moabtɔwo kple Amonitɔ na ɣedzeƒetɔwo woazu wo tɔ, ale be womagaɖo ŋku Amonitɔwo dzi le dukɔwo dome o,

11 I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

12 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”

Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: “Esi Edomtɔwo bia hlɔ̃ Yuda ƒe aƒe eye wodze agɔ vevie to nu sia wɔwɔ me ta la,

13 therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.

ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye si, ‘Mado nye asi ɖa ɖe Edom ŋu, eye mawu eƒe amewo kple woƒe lãwo. Mana wòazu gbegbe, eye eƒe amewo atsi yi nu tso Teman va se ɖe Dedan.

14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.

Mabia hlɔ̃ Edom to nye amewo, Israel ƒe asi dzi, eye woatu nu kple Edom le nye dziku kple dɔmedzoe helĩhelĩ nu. Woadze si nye hlɔ̃biabia.’ Aƒetɔ Yehowae gblɔe.”

15 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”

“Ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: ‘Esi Filistitɔwo wɔ nu le hlɔ̃biabia me, eye wobia hlɔ̃ kple ta me vɔ̃ ɖoɖo si le dzi me na wo kple fuléle si nɔ wo me tso blema ke, be yewoatsrɔ̃ Yuda ta la,

16 therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

ale Aƒetɔ Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: Mele nye asi ɖo ge ɖa ɖe Filistitɔwo ŋu, mawu Keretitɔwo, eye matsrɔ̃ ame siwo susɔ ɖe atsiaƒu la nu.

17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
