< Ezekiel 2 >
1 He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.”
nanao amako ty hoe, O ana’ ondatio, miongaha am-pandia, le hivolañako.
2 The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.
Aa ie nisaontsia’e le nimoak’ amako ty Tioke nampitroatse ahy an-tomboke naho tsinanoko i nitsara amakoy.
3 He said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.
Le hoe re tamako, O ana’ondatio, hiraheko mb’ amo ana’ Israeleo irehe, mb’amo fifokoa mpiola niola amakoo; songa niola amako iereo naho o roae’eo, pake henanekeo.
4 The children are impudent and stiff-hearted. I am sending you to them, and you shall tell them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’
Aa le hiraheko irehe mb’amo ana-dahy gan-tarehe naho fatra-poo, le hoe ty ho asa’o ama’e, Hoe ty nafe’ Iehovà Talè;
5 They, whether they will hear, or whether they will refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that there has been a prophet among them.
aa ke hijanjiñe iereo, he tsy hañaoñe, amy t’ie anjomba mpiola; fe ho oni’iareo te tañivo’iareo ao ty mpitoky.
6 You, son of man, do not be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
Aa ihe ana’ ondatio, ko ihembaña’o, ko irevendreveña’o o saontsi’eo fa mpiola iereo, aa ndra te mpiama’o ty fatike naho hisatse, naho kalengo ty imoneña’o, ko hembaña’o o saontsi’eo, vaho ko miriatsandry aolo’e eo, fa akiba miola iereo.
7 You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear or whether they will refuse; for they are most rebellious.
Le ho taroñe’o am’ iereo o volakoo, ke hijanjiñe he tsy hañaoñe, amy t’ie mpiola.
8 But you, son of man, hear what I tell you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.”
Aa ihe ka, ana’ ondatio, tsendreño ty ho volañeko; ko miola irehe manahake ty fiolà’ i anjomba mpiolay; sokafo ty falie’o, vaho kamao o azotsokoo.
9 When I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it.
Aa le nenteako te ingo ty fitañe nahitrik’ amako, naho tama’e ao ty boke peleke;
10 He spread it before me. It was written within and without; and lamentations, mourning, and woe were written in it.
navela’e amako, ie sinokitse añ’ate’e naho alafe’e, naho nisokireñ’ ama’e ao ty fandalañe naho ty fihontohañe, vaho ty hankàñe.
