2 Samuel 13
1 After this, Absalom the son of David had a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.
১তাৰ পাছত এনেকুৱা ঘটনা হ’ল, যে, দায়ূদৰ পুত্ৰ অবচালোমৰ তামাৰ নামেৰে এজনী শুৱনি ভনীয়েক আছিল। আৰু দায়ূদৰ পুত্ৰ অম্নোন তাইলৈ কামাসক্ত হ’ল;
2 Amnon was so troubled that he became sick because of his sister Tamar, for she was a virgin, and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.
২অম্নোনে মনতে এনে দুখ পালে, যে, সি নিজ ভনীয়েক তামাৰৰ কাৰণে নৰিয়া পৰিল৷ তাই কুমাৰী আছিল, আৰু সেই কাৰণে অম্নোনে তাইলৈ কিবা কৰিবলৈ দুসাধ্য বুলি ভাবিলে।
3 But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab the son of Shimeah, David’s brother; and Jonadab was a very subtle man.
৩দায়ূদৰ ককায়েক চিমিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাদবৰ নামেৰে অম্নোনৰ এজন বন্ধু আছিল৷ যোনাদব এজন বৰ চতুৰ লোক আছিল।
4 He said to him, “Why, son of the king, are you so sad from day to day? Will not you tell me?” Amnon said to him, “I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.”
৪সি অম্নোনক সুধিলে, হে ৰাজপুত্ৰ তুমি প্ৰতি দিনে এনেকৈ নিৰুৎসাহ হৈছা কিয়? সেই বিষয়ে মোক নোকোৱানে? তেতিয়া অম্নোনে তাক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মোৰ ককাই অবচালোমৰ ভনীয়েক তামাৰলৈ মই প্ৰেমাসক্ত হৈছোঁ।”
5 Jonadab said to him, “Lay down on your bed and pretend to be sick. When your father comes to see you, tell him, ‘Please let my sister Tamar come and give me bread to eat, and prepare the food in my sight, that I may see it and eat it from her hand.’”
৫তেতিয়া যোনাদৰে তাক ক’লে, “তুমি নিজৰ খাটৰ ওপৰত শুই নৰিয়াৰ ভাও ধৰা৷ যেতিয়া তোমাৰ পিতৃয়ে তোমাক চাবলৈ আহিব তেতিয়া তেওঁক ক’বা, ‘অনুগ্ৰহ কৰি মোৰ ভনী তামাৰক মোক আহাৰ দিবৰ বাবে মোৰ আগত পঠিয়াই দিয়ক আৰু মোৰ আগত আহাৰ যুগুত কৰা দেখি যেন তাইৰ হাতে ভোজন কৰোঁ, এই কাৰণে মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিবলৈ তাইক আজ্ঞা কৰক’।”
6 So Amnon lay down and faked being sick. When the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, “Please let my sister Tamar come and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat from her hand.”
৬তেতিয়া অম্নোনে নৰিয়াৰ ভাও ধৰি পৰি থাকিল৷ তাতে ৰজাই তাক চাবলৈ আহোতে, অম্নোনে ৰজাক ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, মোৰ ভনী তামাৰক মোৰ অসুস্থতাৰ বাবে মোৰ আগত যেন আহাৰ যোগাৰ কৰে আৰু মই তাইৰ হাতে যেন ভোজন কৰোঁ এই কাৰণে মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিবলৈ তাইক আজ্ঞা কৰক৷”
7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, “Go now to your brother Amnon’s house, and prepare food for him.”
৭তেতিয়া দায়ূদে তামাৰৰ ঘৰলৈ মানুহ পঠিয়াই কোৱালে বোলে, “এতিয়া তুমি তোমাৰ ককাই অম্নোনৰ ঘৰলৈ গৈ, তাৰ কাৰণে আহাৰ যুগুত কৰি দিয়া।”
8 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon’s house; and he was lying down. She took dough, kneaded it, made cakes in his sight, and baked the cakes.
৮তাতে তামাৰ নিজ ককাই অম্নোনে শুই থকা সেই ঘৰলৈ গ’ল৷ তামাৰে আটাগুড়ি লৈ খচি, তেওঁৰ আগতে পিঠা বনালে।
9 She took the pan and poured them out before him, but he refused to eat. Amnon said, “Have all men leave me.” Then every man went out from him.
৯তাই তাৰ সৈতে লৈ গৈ, সেই পিঠা তেওঁক দিলে কিন্তু তেওঁ খাবলৈ অমান্তি হ’ল৷ তেতিয়া অম্নোনে ক’লে, “মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা সকলো লোকক বাহিৰলৈ যাবলৈ দিয়া৷” তাতে সকলোৱে তেওঁৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা বাহিৰলৈ গ’ল।
10 Amnon said to Tamar, “Bring the food into the room, that I may eat from your hand.” Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the room to Amnon her brother.
১০তেতিয়া অম্মোনে তামাৰক ক’লে, “মই তোমাৰ হাতে ভোজন কৰিবৰ কাৰণে খোৱা বস্তুবোৰ মোৰ কোঁঠালিলৈ আনা৷” তেতিয়া তামাৰে নিজ হাতে বনোৱা সেই পিঠা লৈ ভিতৰ কোঁঠালিলৈ তেওঁৰ ককাই অম্নোনৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল।
11 When she had brought them near to him to eat, he took hold of her and said to her, “Come, lie with me, my sister!”
১১যেতিয়া তাই পিঠা লৈ তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিলে, তেতিয়া অম্নোনে তাইক ধৰি ক’লে, “হে মোৰ ভনী, আহা মোৰ লগত শয়ন কৰা।”
12 She answered him, “No, my brother, do not force me! For no such thing ought to be done in Israel. Do not you do this folly!
১২তাতে তাই উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “নহয়, নহয়, মোৰ ককাই, মোক বলাৎকাৰ নকৰিবা কিয়নো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত এনে কৰ্ম কৰা অযুগুত৷ তুমি এনে মুৰ্খৰ কৰ্ম নকৰিবা!
13 As for me, where would I carry my shame? And as for you, you will be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, please speak to the king; for he will not withhold me from you.”
১৩মই কলৈ গৈ মোৰ মুখ ঢাকিম? আৰু তুমিও ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত এজন লজ্জাহীন মুৰ্খৰ নিচিনা হ’বা। এই হেতুকে এতিয়া মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, তুমি ৰজাৰ আগত জনোৱা কিয়নো তেওঁ মোক তোমালৈ বিয়া দিবলৈ অসন্মত নহ’ব।”
14 However, he would not listen to her voice; but being stronger than she, he forced her and lay with her.
১৪কিন্তু অম্নোনে তাইৰ কথা শুনিবলৈ অসন্মত হ’ল আৰু নিজে তাইতকৈ বলী হোৱা হেতুকে, তেওঁ তাইক বলেৰে ধৰি তাইৰ লগত শয়ন কৰিলে।
15 Then Amnon hated her with exceedingly great hatred; for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. Amnon said to her, “Arise, be gone!”
১৫তাৰ পাছত অম্নোনে তাইক অতিশয় ঘিণ কৰিব ধৰিলে৷ তেওঁ যি পৰিমানে তাইলৈ কামাসক্ত আছিল তাতকৈ অধিক পৰিমাণে তাইক ঘিণ কৰিব ধৰিলে। এই হেতুকে অম্নোনে তাইক ক’লে, “উঠি গুচি যোৱা।”
16 She said to him, “Not so, because this great wrong in sending me away is worse than the other that you did to me!” But he would not listen to her.
১৬তাতে তাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “এনে নকৰিবা! কিয়নো তুমি মোলৈ কৰা প্ৰথম দোষতকৈ, মোক বাহিৰ কৰি উলিয়াই খেদাতোহে বেচিকৈ বেয়া!” কিন্তু অম্নোনে তাইৰ কথা নুশুনিলে৷
17 Then he called his servant who ministered to him, and said, “Now put this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.”
১৭তাৰ সলনি তেওঁ নিজৰ দাসক মাতি ক’লে, “এইক মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা উলিয়াই নে আৰু তাইৰ পাছত দুৱাৰৰ ডাং লগাই দে।”
18 She had a garment of various colors on her, for the king’s daughters who were virgins dressed in such robes. Then his servant brought her out and bolted the door after her.
১৮তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ দাসে তাইক বাহিৰ কৰি দি তাইৰ পাছত দুৱাৰৰ ডাং লগাই দিলে। সেই কণ্যাৰ গাত দীঘল অলংকাৰপূর্ণ চোলা আছিল, কিয়নো বিয়া নিদিয়া ৰাজকুমাৰীসকলে সেইৰূপ চোলা পিন্ধে।
19 Tamar put ashes on her head, and tore her garment of various colors that was on her; and she laid her hand on her head and went her way, crying aloud as she went.
১৯তেতিয়া তামাৰে নিজৰ মুৰত ছাঁই ল’লে, আৰু নিজৰ গাত থকা সেই দীঘল অলংকাৰপূর্ণ চোলা ফালি মুৰত হাত দি চিঞৰি কান্দি কান্দি গুচি আহিল।
20 Absalom her brother said to her, “Has Amnon your brother been with you? But now hold your peace, my sister. He is your brother. Do not take this thing to heart.” So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.
২০তাৰ পাছত তাইৰ ককায়েক অবচালোমে তাইক সুধিলে, “তোমাৰ ককাই অম্নোন তোমাৰ লগত আছিল নেকি? কিন্তু এতিয়া হে মোৰ ভনী, মনে মনে থাকা, সি তোমাৰ ককাই; এই কথাত বৰকৈ দুখ নকৰিবা।” তেতিয়াৰে পৰা তামাৰ বিষাদ মনেৰে নিজ ককাই অবচালোমৰ ঘৰত থাকিল।
21 But when King David heard of all these things, he was very angry.
২১পাছে দায়ুদ ৰজাই এই সকলো কথা শুনি অতিশয় ক্ৰুদ্ধ হ’ল।
22 Absalom spoke to Amnon neither good nor bad; for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.
২২আৰু অবচালোমে অম্নোনক ভাল বেয়া একোকে নক’লে; কিয়নো তেওঁৰ ভনীয়েক তামাৰক অম্নোনে বলাৎকাৰ কৰাৰ কাৰণে অবচালোমে তাক ঘিণ কৰিলে।
23 After two full years, Absalom had sheep shearers in Baal Hazor, which is beside Ephraim; and Absalom invited all the king’s sons.
২৩সম্পূর্ণ দুবছৰৰ পাছত ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ ওচৰত থকা বালহাচোৰত অবচালোমৰ লোকসকলে মেৰৰ নোম কটা কাম কৰি আছিল৷ তাতে অবচালোমে আটাইকেইজন ৰাজকোঁৱৰক নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰিলে।
24 Absalom came to the king and said, “See now, your servant has sheep shearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”
২৪অবচালোমে ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “চাওঁক, আপোনাৰ এই দাসৰ লগত মেৰৰ নোম কটা লোকসকল আছে৷ এই কাৰণে মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, মহাৰাজ আৰু মহাৰাজৰ দাসবোৰ আপোনাৰ এই দাসৰ লগত আহক।”
25 The king said to Absalom, “No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.
২৫তাতে ৰজাই অবচালোমক ক’লে, “সেয়ে নহয় বোপা, আমি সকলোৱে নাযাওঁ; গ’লে তোমাৰ অধিক ভাৰহে হ’ব।” তথাপি তেওঁ বৰকৈ ধৰিলে; কিন্তু ৰজাই যাবলৈ মান্তি নহ’ল যদিও তেওঁক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে।
26 Then Absalom said, “If not, please let my brother Amnon go with us.” The king said to him, “Why should he go with you?”
২৬তেতিয়া অবচালোমে ক’লে, “যদি সেয়ে নহয়, তেন্তে মোৰ ভাই অম্নোনক আমাৰ লগত যাবলৈ অনুমতি দিয়ক।” তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “অম্নোন তোমাৰ লগত কিয় যাব লাগে?”
27 But Absalom pressed him, and he let Amnon and all the king’s sons go with him.
২৭অবচালোমে বৰকৈ ধৰাত ৰজাই অম্নোনক আৰু সকলো ৰাজকোঁৱৰক তেওঁৰ লগত যাবলৈ অনুমতি দিলে।
28 Absalom commanded his servants, saying, “Mark now, when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine; and when I tell you, ‘Strike Amnon,’ then kill him. Do not be afraid. Have not I commanded you? Be courageous, and be valiant!”
২৮অবচালোমে তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰক এই আজ্ঞা কৰিলে, বোলে, “ভালদৰে শুন৷ অম্নোনৰ মন কোন সময়ত দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসত প্ৰফুল্লিত হয়, তহঁতে তাক ভালকৈ চাবি আৰু যেতিয়া ‘অম্নোনক আঘাত কৰ’ বুলি মই তহঁতক কম, তেতিয়া তাক বধ কৰিবি, ভয় নকৰিবি; মই তহঁতক জানো হুকুম দিয়া নাই? সাহিয়াল হৈ বীৰত্ব দেখুওৱা।”
29 The servants of Absalom did to Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons arose, and every man got up on his mule and fled.
২৯তেতিয়া অবচালোমৰ দাসবোৰে তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞাৰ দৰে অম্নোনলৈ কৰিলে। তেতিয়া আন আটাই ৰাজকোঁৱৰসকল উঠি, প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ খছৰৰ পিঠিত উঠি পলাল।
30 While they were on the way, the news came to David, saying, “Absalom has slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left!”
৩০তেওঁলোক বাটত থাকোঁতেই দায়ূদলৈ এই বাতৰি আহিল, বোলে, “অবচালোমে আটাইকেইজন ৰাজকোঁৱৰক বধ কৰিলে, তেওঁলোকৰ এজনো অৱশিষ্ট নাই।”
31 Then the king arose, and tore his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes torn.
৩১তেতিয়া ৰজাই উঠি নিজৰ কাপোৰ ফালি মাটিত দীঘল হৈ পৰিল; আৰু তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰেও নিজ নিজ কাপোৰ ফালি ৰজাৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ ৰ’ল।
32 Jonadab the son of Shimeah, David’s brother, answered, “Do not let my lord suppose that they have killed all the young men, the king’s sons, for Amnon only is dead; for by the appointment of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.
৩২তেতিয়া দায়ূদৰ ককায়েক চিমিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ সেই যোনাদবে মাত লগাই ক’লে, “সকলো ৰাজকোঁৱৰ যে হত হ’ল, মোৰ প্ৰভুৱে এনে নাভাবক, কিয়নো কেৱল অম্নোনৰহে মৃত্যু হৈছে। কাৰণ অবচালোমৰ ভনী তামাৰক বলাৎকাৰ কৰা দিনৰে পৰা অবচালোমে ইয়াক থিৰ কৰিছিল।
33 Now therefore do not let my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead; for only Amnon is dead.”
৩৩এতেকে সকলো ৰাজকোঁৱৰ মৰাৰ কথা মোৰ প্ৰভু ৰজাই যেন নিজ মনত ঠাই নিদিয়ে কিয়নো কেৱল অম্নোনহে মৰিছে।”
34 But Absalom fled. The young man who kept the watch lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, many people were coming by way of the hillside behind him.
৩৪কিন্তু ইয়াৰ ভিতৰতে অবচালোম পলাল। পাছত ডেকা পৰিয়াই চকু তুলি চাই পৰ্বতৰ কাষৰ পৰা নিজৰ পাছফালে থকা বাটেদি অনেক লোকক অহা দেখিলে।
35 Jonadab said to the king, “Behold, the king’s sons are coming! It is as your servant said.”
৩৫তাতে যোনাদবে ৰজাক ক’লে, “সৌৱা চাওঁক, ৰাজকোঁৱৰসকল আহিছে; আপোনাৰ দাসৰ কথাৰ দৰে সেয়েই ঘটিল।”
36 As soon as he had finished speaking, behold, the king’s sons came, and lifted up their voices and wept. The king also and all his servants wept bitterly.
৩৬এই কথা কোৱা মাত্ৰকে ৰাজকোঁৱৰসকল আহি পাই, চিঞৰি কান্দিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷ তাতে ৰজা আৰু তেওঁৰ আটাই দাসবোৰেও বৰকৈ কান্দিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
37 But Absalom fled and went to Talmai the son of Ammihur, king of Geshur. David mourned for his son every day.
৩৭কিন্তু অবচালোম পলাই গচুৰৰ ৰজা অম্মীহোৰৰ পুত্ৰ তল্ময়ৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল। দায়ূদে প্ৰতিদিনে নিজৰ পুত্ৰৰ কাৰণে শোক কৰিলে।
38 So Absalom fled and went to Geshur, and was there three years.
৩৮এইদৰে অবচালোম পলাই গচুৰলৈ গৈ, তাত তিনি বছৰ থাকিল।
39 King David longed to go out to Absalom, for he was comforted concerning Amnon, since he was dead.
৩৯পাছত দায়ুদ ৰজাই অবচালোমৰ ওচৰলৈ যাবলৈ হাবিয়াহ কৰিলে কিয়নো তেওঁ অম্নোনৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাত সেই বিষয়ে শান্ত্বনাপ্ৰাপ্ত হৈছিল।
