1 Chronicles 25
1 Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:
Además, David y los jefes de los siervos del lugar santo seleccionaron a algunos de los hijos de Asaf y de Hemán y de Jedutún para la obra de los profetas, para hacer melodías con arpas salterios y platillos; y el número de hombres para el trabajo que tenían que hacer era:
2 of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.
De los hijos de Asaf: Zacur, José, y Netanias y Asarela; bajo la dirección de Asaf, actuando como un profeta bajo las órdenes del rey;
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD with the harp.
De Jedutún: los seis hijos de Jedutún, Gedalías y Zeri y Jesaias, Simei, Hasabias y Matatias; bajo la dirección de su padre Jedutún quien, actuando como un profeta, acompañado de arpa, alabó y glorificó al Señor.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
Los hijos de Hemán: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti y Romanti-ezer, Josbecaza, Maloti, Hotir, Mahaziot;
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, profeta del rey en las palabras de Dios. Y para hacer grande su poder, Dios le dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the LORD’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
Todos estos, bajo la dirección de su padre, hicieron música en la casa del Señor, con instrumentos de bronce y cuerdas, para la adoración de la casa de Dios; Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán están bajo las órdenes del rey.
7 The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to the LORD, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.
Y el número de ellos, con sus hermanos que fueron entrenados y expertos en hacer melodías para el Señor, era de doscientos ochenta y ocho.
8 They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.
Y se hizo una selección de ellos para su trabajo especial, todos con iguales oportunidades, tanto pequeños como excelentes, el maestro como aprendiz.
9 Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;
Ahora, del grupo de Asaf, el primer nombre que salió fue José; el segundo Gedalias; él y sus hermanos e hijos eran doce;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
El tercer Zacur, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La cuarta Izri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La quinta Netanias, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
El decimotercer Subael, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La decimocuarta Matatías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
El decimoquinto Jeremot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
La decimosexta Hananías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
