Zechariah 4
1 And the agent who talked with me came again, and awoke me, as a man who is awakened out of his sleep.
El ángel que hablaba conmigo se volvió y me despertó, como cuando un hombre es despertado de su sueño.
2 And he said to me, What do thou see? And I said, I have seen, and, behold, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps on it. There are seven pipes to each of the lamps, which are upon the top of it,
Y me preguntó: ¿Qué miras? Respondí: Ciertamente, miro un candelabro todo de oro, con su tazón encima, y sus siete lámparas sobre él, con siete canales para cada una de las lámparas que están encima.
3 and two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side of it.
Y dos olivos junto a él, uno por cada lado del tazón.
4 And I answered and spoke to the agent who talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Proseguí y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Qué es esto, ʼadón mío?
5 Then the agent who talked with me answered and said to me, Do thou not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
Y el ángel que hablaba conmigo respondió: ¿No sabes qué es esto? Dije: No, ʼadón mío.
6 Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.
Y él me dijo: Ésta es la Palabra de Yavé a Zorobabel, Quien dice: No con ejército, ni con fuerza, sino con mi Espíritu, dice Yavé de las huestes.
7 Who are thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shall become a plain, and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, to it.
¿Qué eres tú, oh gran montaña? ¡Ante Zorobabel serás una explanada! Él sacará la piedra principal de remate con aclamaciones: ¡Gracia, gracia a ella!
8 Moreover the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
Además la Palabra de Yavé vino a mí:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it. And thou shall know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me to you.
Las manos de Zorobabel pusieron los cimientos de esta Casa, y sus manos la acabarán. Entonces entenderás que Yavé de las huestes me envió a ustedes.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Porque ¿quién es el que menosprecia el día de las pequeñas cosas? Porque estos siete se alegrarán y mirarán la plomada en mano de Zorobabel. Son los siete ojos de Yavé que recorren toda la tierra.
11 Then I answered, and said to him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the lampstand and upon the left side of it?
Y hablé la segunda vez y le pregunté: ¿Qué simbolizan estos dos olivos, a la derecha y a la izquierda del candelabro?
12 And I answered the second time, and said to him, What are these two olive-branches, which are beside the two golden spouts that empty the golden oil out of themselves?
Volví a hablar otra vez y pregunté: ¿Qué simbolizan las dos ramas de olivo que están al lado de los dos canales de oro, que vierten de ellas el [aceite] dorado?
13 And he answered me and said, Do thou not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
Y me contestó: ¿No sabes qué simbolizan estas cosas? Y dije: No, ʼadón mío.
14 Then he said, These are the two anointed ones, who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Respondió: Estos son los dos ungidos que están delante del ʼAdón de toda la tierra.
