Romans 12
1 I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, your reasonable service.
১সুতরাং, হে ভাইয়েরা, আমি অনুরোধ করছি ঈশ্বরের দয়ার মাধ্যমেই তোমরা তোমাদের শরীরকে জীবন্ত বলিরূপে, পবিত্র ও ঈশ্বরের গ্রহণযোগ্য যেটা তোমাদের আত্মিক ভাবে আরাধনা।
2 And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind, for ye to approve what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (aiōn g165)
২এই জগতের মত হয়ো না, কিন্তু মনকে নতুন করে গড়ে তুলে নতুন হয়ে ওঠ, যেন তোমরা পরীক্ষা করে জানতে পার, ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছা কি, যা ভাল মনের সন্তোষজনক ও নিখুঁত। (aiōn g165)
3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to over think beyond what he ought to think, but to think so as to think soundly, as God has apportioned to each man a measure of faith.
৩কারণ আমি বলি, আমাকে যে অনুগ্রহ দেওয়া হয়েছে তার গুণে আমি তোমাদের প্রত্যেককে বলছি, নিজেকে যতটা বড় মনে করা উচিত তার চেয়ে বেশি বড় মনে কর না; কিন্তু ঈশ্বর যাকে যতটা বিশ্বাস দিয়েছেন, সেই অনুসারে সে ভালো হবার চেষ্টা করুক।
4 For just as we have many body-parts in one body, and all the body-parts have not the same function,
৪কারণ ঠিক যেমন আমাদের এক দেহে অনেক অঙ্গ, কিন্তু সব অঙ্গগুলো একরকম কাজ করে না,
5 so we, the many, are one body in Christ, and each one body-parts of each other.
৫ঠিক সেভাবে আমরা সংখ্যায় অনেক হলেও, আমরা খ্রীষ্টের এক দেহ এবং প্রত্যেক সদস্য একে অন্যের।
6 And having different gifts according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of faith;
৬ঈশ্বরের দয়া অনুসারে আমাদেরকে আলাদা আলাদা দান দেওয়া হয়েছে। তদনুসারে যখন আমরা বিশেষ বিশেষ বরদান প্রাপ্ত হইয়াছি, যদি কারোর বরদান হয় ভাববাণী; তবে এস, বিশ্বাসের পরিমাণ অনুসারে ভাববাণী বলি;
7 or service, in the service; or he who teaches, in the teaching;
৭কারোর দান যদি পরিষেবা করা হয়, তবে সে পরিষেবা করুক। যদি কারোর দান হয় শিক্ষা দেওয়া, সে শিক্ষা দিক।
8 or he who exhorts, in the exhortation; he who gives, in simplicity; he who leads, in diligence; he who does mercy, in cheerfulness.
৮যে উপদেশ দেওয়ার দান পেয়েছে, সে উপদেশ দিক; যে দান করার দান পেয়েছে, সে সরল ভাবে দান করুক, যে শাসন করার দান পেয়েছে, সে যত্ন সহকারে করুক, যে দয়া করার দান পেয়েছে, সে আনন্দিত মনে দয়া করুক।
9 Love without hypocrisy, abhorring what is evil, clinging to what is good,
৯ভালবাসার মধ্যে যেন কোনো ছলনা না থাকে। যা খারাপ তাকে ঘৃণা কর; যা ভাল তাকে ধর।
10 with brotherly love toward each other, affectionate, leading each other in recognition,
১০একে অন্যকে ভাইয়ের মত ভালবাসো; একজন অন্যকে স্নেহ কর; একে অন্যকে শ্রেষ্ট সম্মান কর।
11 not lazy in diligence, being fervent in the Spirit serving the Lord,
১১যত্নে শিথিল হও না, আত্মায় উত্তপ্ত হও, প্রভুর সেবা কর, যে আশা রয়েছে তাতে আনন্দ কর,
12 rejoicing in hope, enduring tribulation, persevering in prayer,
১২আশায় আনন্দ কর, কষ্টে ধৈর্য্য ধর, অনবরত প্রার্থনা কর,
13 sharing for the needs of the sanctified, pursuing love for strangers.
১৩ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র লোকদের অভাবের দিন সহভাগী হও, অতিথিদের সেবা কর।
14 Bless those who persecute you. Bless ye and do not curse.
১৪যারা তোমাকে অত্যাচার করে, তাদের আশীর্বাদ কর; আশীর্বাদ কর অভিশাপ দিও না।
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep,
১৫যারা আনন্দ করে, তাদের সঙ্গে আনন্দ কর; যারা কাঁদে, তাদের সঙ্গে কাঁদ।
16 thinking the same way toward each other, not thinking on lofty things, but accommodating to the lowly. Become not wise according to yourselves,
১৬তোমাদের একে অন্যের মনোভাব যেন একরকম হয়। গর্ব ভাবে কোনো বিষয় চিন্তা কর না, কিন্তু নিচু শ্রেনীর লোকদের গ্রহণ কর। নিজের চিন্তায় নিজেকে বুদ্ধিমান ভেবো না।
17 rendering to no man evil for evil, premeditating things right in the sight of all men.
১৭কেউ খারাপ করলে তার খারাপ কর না। সব লোকের দৃষ্টিতে যা ভালো, যা ভালো তাই চিন্তা কর।
18 If possible from you, keeping peace with all men,
১৮যদি সম্ভব হয়, তোমরা যতটা পার, লোকের সঙ্গে শান্তিতে থাক।
19 not avenging yourselves, beloved, but give place to wrath, for it is written, Vengeance is for me, I will repay, says the Lord.
১৯হে প্রিয়রা, তোমরা নিজেরা প্রতিশোধ নিও না, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরকে শাস্তি দিতে দাও। কারণ লেখা আছে, “প্রতিশোধ নেওয়া আমার কাজ; আমিই উত্তর দেব, এটা প্রভু বলেন।”
20 Therefore if thine enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him to drink. For by doing this thou will heap coals of fire upon his head.
২০“কিন্তু তোমার শত্রুর যদি খিদে পায়, তাকে খাওয়াও। যদি সে পিপাসিত হয়, তাকে পান করাও। কারণ তুমি যদি এটা কর তাহলে তুমি তার মাথায় জ্বলন্ত কয়লা জড়ো করে রাখবে।”
21 Be thou not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.
২১খারাপের কাছে পরাজিত হও না, কিন্তু ভালোর দ্বারা খারাপকে পরাজয় কর।
