Revelation 10

1 And I saw a mighty agent coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire,

तब मुझे स्वर्ग से उतरता हुआ एक दूसरा शक्तिशाली स्वर्गदूत दिखाई दिया, जिसने बादल को कपड़ों के समान धारण किया हुआ था, उसके सिर के ऊपर सात रंगों का मेघधनुष था, उसका चेहरा सूर्य सा तथा पैर आग के खंभे के समान थे.

2 and having in his hand an opened book. And he placed his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the earth.

उसके हाथ में एक छोटी पुस्तिका खुली हुई थी. उसने अपना दायां पांव समुद्र पर तथा बायां भूमि पर रखा.

3 And he cried out in a great voice as a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

वह ऊंचे शब्द में सिंह गर्जन जैसे पुकार उठा. उसके पुकारने पर सात बादलों के गर्जन भी पुकार उठे.

4 And when the seven thunders uttered, I was going to write. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.

जब सात बादलों के गर्जन बोल चुके, मैं लिखने के लिए तैयार हुआ ही था; पर मैंने स्वर्ग से यह आवाज सुनी, “जो कुछ सात बादलों के गर्जन ने कहा है, उसे लिखो मत परंतु मुहरबंद कर दो.”

5 And the agent whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth raised his right hand to heaven,

तब उस स्वर्गदूत ने, जिसे मैंने समुद्र तथा भूमि पर खड़े हुए देखा था, अपना दायां हाथ स्वर्ग की ओर उठाया

6 and swore by him who lives into the ages of the ages, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that time would be no more. (aiōn g165)

और उसने उनकी, जो हमेशा के लिए जीवित हैं, जिन्होंने स्वर्ग और उसमें बसी सब वस्तुओं को, पृथ्वी तथा उसमें बसी सब वस्तुओं को तथा समुद्र तथा उसमें बसी सब वस्तुओं को बनाया है, शपथ खाते हुए यह कहा: “अब और देर न होगी. (aiōn g165)

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh agent, when he is going to sound, even the mystery of God is finished, as he declared the good news to his bondmen the prophets.

उस समय, जब सातवां स्वर्गदूत तुरही फूंकेगा, परमेश्वर अपनी गुप्‍त योजनाएं पूरी करेंगे, जिनकी घोषणा उन्होंने अपने दासों—अपने भविष्यद्वक्ताओं से की थी.”

8 And the voice that I heard from heaven was again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the little book that has been opened in the hand of the agent who stands upon the sea and upon the earth.

जो शब्द मैंने स्वर्ग से सुना था, उसने दोबारा मुझे संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “जाओ! उस स्वर्गदूत के हाथ से, जो समुद्र तथा भूमि पर खड़ा है, वह खुली हुई पुस्तिका ले लो.”

9 And I went to the agent, telling him to give me the little book. And he says to me, Take and eat it. And it will make thy belly bitter, but it will be sweet as honey in thy mouth.

मैंने स्वर्गदूत के पास जाकर उससे वह पुस्तिका मांगी. उसने मुझे वह पुस्तिका देते हुए कहा, “लो, इसे खा लो. यह तुम्हारे उदर को तो खट्टा कर देगी किंतु तुम्हारे मुंह में यह शहद के समान मीठी लगेगी.”

10 And I took the book out of the agent's hand, and ate it. And it was sweet as honey in my mouth, and when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter.

मैंने स्वर्गदूत से वह पुस्तिका लेकर खा ली. मुझे वह मुंह में तो शहद के समान मीठी लगी किंतु खा लेने पर मेरा उदर खट्टा हो गया.

11 And he says to me, Thou must prophesy again against many peoples, and against nations and tongues and kings.

तब मुझसे कहा गया, “यह ज़रूरी है कि तुम दोबारा अनेक प्रजातियों, राष्ट्रों, भाषाओं तथा राजाओं के संबंध में भविष्यवाणी करो.”
