Psalms 99

1 Jehovah reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits above the cherubim, let the earth be moved.

ख़ुदावन्द सलतनत करता है, क़ौमें काँपी। वह करूबियों पर बैठता है, ज़मीन लरज़े।

2 Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.

ख़ुदावन्द सिय्यून में बुज़ु़र्ग़ है; और वह सब क़ौमों पर बुलंद — ओ — बाला है।

3 Let them praise thy great and awesome name. Holy is he.

वह तेरे बुज़ुर्ग और बड़े नाम की ता'रीफ़ करें वह पाक हैं।

4 The king's strength also loves justice. Thou establish equity. Thou execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.

बादशाह की ताक़त इन्साफ़ पसन्द है तू रास्ती को क़ाईम करता है तू ही ने 'अद्ल और सदाक़त को या'क़ूब, में रायज किया।

5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. Holy is he.

तुम ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा की तम्जीद करो, और उसके पाँव की चौकी पर सिज्दा वह पाक है।

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among those who call upon his name, they called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

उसके काहिनों में से मूसा और हारून ने, और उसका नाम लेनेवालों में से समुएल ने ख़ुदावन्द से दुआ की और उसने उनको जवाब दिया।

7 He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.

उसने बादल के सुतून में से उनसे कलाम किया; उन्होंने उसकी शहादतों को और उस क़ानून को जो उनको दिया था, माना।

8 Thou answered them, O Jehovah our God. Thou were a God who forgave them, though thou took vengeance on their doings.

ऐ ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा, तू उनको जवाब देता था; तू वह ख़ुदा है जो उनको मु'आफ करता रहा, अगरचे तूने उनके आ'माल का बदला भी दिया।

9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, and worship at his holy hill. For Jehovah our God is holy.

तुम ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा की तम्जीद करो, और उसके पाक पहाड़ पर सिज्दा करो; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द हमारा ख़ुदा क़ुददूस है।
