Psalms 97
1 Jehovah reigns! Let the earth rejoice. Let the multitude of isles be glad.
Awurade di hene, ma asase ani nnye; ma akyirikyiri mpoano ahorow no nsɛpɛw wɔn ho.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Omununkum ne sum kabii atwa no ho ahyia; trenee ne atɛntrenee yɛ nʼahengua no fapem.
3 A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries round about.
Ogya di nʼanim na ɛhyew nʼatamfo wɔ afanan nyinaa.
4 His lightnings lightened the world. The earth saw, and trembled.
Nʼanyinam hyerɛn wiase; asase hu na ne ho popo.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Mmepɔw nan sɛ nku wɔ Awurade anim, Awurade a asase nyinaa wɔ no no anim.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples have seen his glory.
Ɔsoro pae mu ka ne trenee kyerɛ na aman nyinaa hu nʼanuonyam.
7 Let all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast themselves of idols. Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.
Ahonisomfo nyinaa anim agu ase, wɔn a wɔde abosomhuhuw hoahoa wɔn ho no, anyame nyinaa monsɔre no.
8 Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.
Sion te, na ne ho sɛpɛw no na Yuda nkuraa ani gye Awurade, esiane wʼatɛntrenee nti.
9 For thou, Jehovah, are most high above all the earth. Thou are exalted far above all gods.
Wo, Awurade ne Ɔsorosoroni wɔ asase so nyinaa; wɔama wo so pa ara wɔ anyame nyinaa mu.
10 O ye who love Jehovah, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his sanctified. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Ma wɔn a wɔdɔ Awurade no nkyi bɔne, ɔbɔ ne nkurɔfo a wɔyɛ nokwafo no ho ban na ogye wɔn fi amumɔyɛfo nsam.
11 Light is sown for the righteous man, and gladness for the upright in heart.
Hann hyerɛn wɔ atreneefo so na anigye ba wɔn a wɔn koma mu tew no so.
12 Be glad in Jehovah, ye righteous, and give thanks to the memory of his holiness.
Momma mo ani nnye Awurade mu, mo a moyɛ atreneefo, na monkamfo ne din kronkron no.
