< Psalms 94 >

1 O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongs, thou God to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.
Wee Jehova, o Wee Mũrungu ũrĩa ũrĩhanagĩria, Wee Mũrungu ũrĩa ũrĩhanagĩria-rĩ, cangarara.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth. Render to the proud a recompense.
Arahũka, Wee mũtuanĩri ciira wa andũ othe a thĩ; kĩrĩhe andũ arĩa etĩĩi o kĩrĩa kĩmagĩrĩire.
3 Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
Wee Jehova-rĩ, nĩ nginya rĩ andũ arĩa aaganu megũtũũra makenete, nĩ nginya rĩ andũ arĩa aaganu megũtũũra marũũhagia?
4 They prate, they speak arrogantly. All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
Maaragia ndeto cia mwĩgaatho; andũ arĩa othe meekaga ũũru, o maiyũrĩtwo nĩ mwĩtĩĩo.
5 They break in pieces thy people, O Jehovah, and afflict thy heritage.
Mahehenjaga andũ aku, Wee Jehova, makahinyĩrĩria igai rĩaku.
6 They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless.
Mooragaga mũtumia wa ndigwa, na mũndũ wa kũngĩ; mooragaga ciana iria itarĩ maithe.
7 And they say, Jehovah will not see, nor will the God of Jacob consider.
Moigaga atĩrĩ, “Jehova ndangĩona; Ngai wa Jakubu-rĩ, ndangĩrũmbũiya.”
8 Consider, ye brutish among the people, and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
Mwĩmenyererei inyuĩ arĩa mwagĩte ũũgĩ mũrĩ gatagatĩ-inĩ ka andũ; inyuĩ andũ aya akĩĩgu, mũgaakĩũhĩga rĩ?
9 He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? He who formed the eye, shall he not see?
Ũrĩa wombire gũtũ-rĩ, ndangĩigua? Ũcio wombire riitho-rĩ, ndangĩona?
10 He who chastises the nations, shall he not correct, even he who teaches man knowledge?
Ũcio ũrũithagia ndũrĩrĩ-rĩ, ndangĩherithania? O ũcio ũrutaga andũ-rĩ, ndarĩ ũmenyo?
11 Jehovah knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
Jehova nĩoĩ meciiria ma mũndũ; ĩĩ, oĩ atĩ meciiria mao nĩ ma tũhũ.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chasten, O Jehovah, and teach out of thy law,
Wee Jehova, kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ mũndũ ũrĩa Wee ũtaaraga, o mũndũ ũcio ũrutaga watho waku;
13 that thou may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for a wicked man.
nĩũgaatũma ahoorere matukũ-inĩ ma thĩĩna, o nginya rĩrĩa mũndũ ũrĩa mwaganu akenjerwo irima.
14 For Jehovah will not cast off his people, nor will he forsake his inheritance.
Nĩgũkorwo Jehova ndagatiganĩria andũ ake; igai rĩake ndarĩ hĩndĩ angĩrĩtirika.
15 For judgment shall return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
Ũtuanĩri ciira wa kĩhooto nĩũgakwo rĩngĩ igũrũ rĩa ũthingu, nao andũ othe arĩa arũngĩrĩru ngoro maũrũmagĩrĩre.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Nũũ ũkwarahũka, andũĩrĩre harĩ arĩa aaganu? Nũũ ũkũndũgamĩrĩra, andũĩrĩre harĩ arĩa meekaga ũũru?
17 Unless Jehovah had been my help, my soul would have soon dwelt in silence.
Tiga Jehova aandeithirie-rĩ, ingĩakuire o narua, ngatũũre kũu ũkiri-inĩ.
18 When I said, My foot slips, thy loving kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
Rĩrĩa ndoigire atĩrĩ, “Kũgũrũ gwakwa nĩkũratenderũka,” wendani waku, Wee Jehova, nĩwandiirĩrĩire.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
Rĩrĩa mĩtangĩko yaingĩhire thĩinĩ wakwa-rĩ, Wee wahooreririe, ũgĩkenia ngoro yakwa.
20 Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, which frames mischief by statute?
Gĩtĩ kĩa ũnene kĩa ungumania-rĩ, hihi no kĩgĩe na ngwatanĩro nawe, o kĩrĩa kĩrehanagĩra mĩnyamaro nĩ ũndũ wa matuĩro ma kĩo?
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of a righteous man, and condemn innocent blood.
Monganaga hamwe nĩguo mokĩrĩre mũndũ ũrĩa mũthingu, na magatuĩra mũndũ ũtehĩtie ooragwo.
22 But Jehovah has been my high tower, and my God the rock of my refuge.
No Jehova nĩwe ũtuĩkĩte kĩirigo gĩakwa kĩa hinya, na Ngai wakwa, o we rwaro rwakwa rwa ihiga harĩa njũragĩra.
23 And he has brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. Jehovah our God will cut them off.
We nĩakamaherithia nĩ ũndũ wa mehia mao na amaniine nĩ ũndũ wa waganu wao; Jehova Ngai witũ nĩakamaniina.
