Psalms 86
1 Bow down thine ear, O Jehovah, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
| دعای داوود. ای خداوند، دعای مرا بشنو و آن را اجابت فرما، زیرا ضعیف و درمانده‌ام. |
2 Preserve my soul, for I am devout. O thou my God, save thy servant who trusts in thee.
| جان مرا حفظ کن و مرا نجات ده زیرا من خدمتگزار وفادار تو هستم و بر تو توکل دارم. |
3 Be merciful to me, O Lord, for to thee do I cry all the day long.
| خداوندا، بر من رحمت فرما، زیرا تمام روز به درگاه تو دعا می‌کنم. |
4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant, for to thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
| به من شادی بده، زیرا، ای خداوند، تنها تو را می‌پرستم. |
5 For thou, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon thee.
| تو برای آنانی که تو را می‌خوانند نیکو و بخشنده و سرشار از محبتی. |
6 Give ear, O Jehovah, to my prayer, and hearken to the voice of my supplications.
| ای خداوند، دعای مرا اجابت فرما! به نالهٔ من توجه نما! |
7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee, for thou will answer me.
| به هنگام سختی تو را خواهم خواند، زیرا دعای مرا مستجاب خواهی فرمود. |
8 There is none like thee among the gods, O Lord, nor like thy works.
| خداوندا، خدایی دیگر مانند تو وجود ندارد. کارهای تو بی‌نظیر است. |
9 All nations whom thou have made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and they shall glorify thy name.
| همهٔ قومهایی که آفریده‌ای خواهند آمد و تو را پرستش نموده، نام تو را خواهند ستود. |
10 For thou are great, and do wondrous things. Thou alone are God.
| زیرا تو بزرگ و قادر هستی و معجزه می‌نمایی؛ تنها تو خدا هستی! |
11 Teach me thy way, O Jehovah, I will walk in thy truth. Unite my heart to fear thy name.
| خداوندا، راه خود را به من نشان ده تا وفادارانه در آن گام بردارم. مرا یاری ده تا بدون شک و دودلی تو را خدمت نمایم. |
12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
| با تمام وجودم تو را حمد و سپاس خواهم گفت و پیوسته عظمت نام تو را بیان خواهم نمود، |
13 For great is thy loving kindness toward me, and thou have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
| زیرا محبت تو در حق من بسیار عظیم است؛ تو مرا از خطر مرگ رهانیده‌ای! (Sheol h7585) |
14 O God, the proud have risen up against me, and a company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set thee before them.
| خدایا، مردم متکبر بر ضد من برخاسته‌اند و گروهی ظالم و ستمگر در فکر کشتن منند. آنها به تو توجهی ندارند. |
15 But thou, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.
| اما تو، خداوندا، خدایی رحیم و فیاض و دیرخشم و سرشار از محبت و وفا هستی. |
16 O turn to me, and have mercy upon me. Give thy strength to thy servant, and save the son of thy handmaid.
| روی خود را به سوی من برگردان و بر من رحمت فرما. بندهٔ خود را توانا ساز و او را نجات ده. |
17 Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because thou, Jehovah, have helped me, and comforted me.
| لطف و مهربانی خود را به من نشان ده، مرا یاری کن و دلداری ده، تا آنانی که از من نفرت دارند این را ببینند و شرمنده شوند. |
