Psalms 82

1 God stands in the congregation of God. He judges among the gods.

੧ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,

2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and respect the persons of the wicked? (Selah)

੨ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦ ਤੋੜੀ ਟੇਡਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਕਰੋਗੇ? ਸਲਹ।

3 Judge the poor man and the orphan. Do justice to the afflicted and destitute man.

੩ਨਿਤਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਤੀਮ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੋ, ਮਸਕੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ।

4 Rescue the poor and needy man. Deliver from the hand of the wicked man.

੪ਨਿਤਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਓ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਓ।

5 They know not, nor do they understand. They walk to and fro in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

੫ਓਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੀਂਹਾਂ ਡੋਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

6 I said, Ye are gods, and all of you sons of the Most High.

੬ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਭੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋ।

7 Nevertheless ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.

੭ਪਰੰਤੂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਓਗੇ!

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth, for thou shall inherit all the nations.

੮ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉੱਠ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਰਾਸ ਬਣਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
