Psalms 81
1 Sing aloud to God our strength. Make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಗಿತ್ತೀಯ ರಾಗದಿಂದ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಮಗೆ ಬಲಪ್ರದನಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಜಯಘೋಷಮಾಡಿರಿ.
2 Raise a song, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
೨ರಾಗವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿರಿ; ದಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಬಡಿಯಿರಿ; ಇಂಪಾದ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸಿರಿ.
3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast-day.
೩ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸವದಿನವಾಗಿರುವ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದಿರಿ.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
೪ಇದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ; ಇದು ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರು ವಿಧಿಸಿದ್ದು.
5 He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony when he went out over the land of Egypt, where I heard a language that I knew not.
೫ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟಾಗ, ನೆನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಪರಿಚಯವಿಲ್ಲದವನ ಮಾತು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಏನೆಂದರೆ,
6 I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
೬“ಅವನ ಹೆಗಲನ್ನು ಹೊರೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದೆನು; ಅವನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದೆನು.
7 Thou called in trouble, and I delivered thee. I answered thee in the secret place of thunder. I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
೭ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದೆನು; ಗುಡುಗುವ ಮೋಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು; ಮೆರೀಬಾ ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆನು. (ಸೆಲಾ)
8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee, O Israel, if thou would hearken to me!
೮ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು,
9 There shall no strange god be in thee, nor shall thou worship any foreign god.
೯ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳು ಇರಬಾರದು; ಪರರ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಬಾರದು;
10 I am Jehovah thy God who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
೧೦ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಕರೆತಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು; ಅಗಲವಾಗಿ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆಯಿರಿ; ಅದನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದೆನು.
11 But my people hearkened not to my voice, and Israel would none of me.
೧೧ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನನಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, that they might walk in their own counsels.
೧೨ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇವರು ಹಟಮಾರಿಗಳು; ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಂತೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು.
13 O that my people would hearken to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
೧೩ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
೧೪ನಾನು ಅವರ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ, ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಬಗ್ಗಿಸುವೆನು.
15 (The haters of Jehovah feign obedience to him, but their time is forever.)
೧೫ಯೆಹೋವನ ದ್ವೇಷಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಅವರಾದರೋ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಇರುವರು.
16 He would feed them also with the finest of the wheat. And I would satisfy thee with honey out of the rock.
೧೬ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಗೋದಿಯನ್ನು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿನ ಜೇನಿನಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
