Psalms 72
1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness to the king's son.
Ó Deus, dá ao rei dos teus juizos, e a tua justiça ao filho do rei.
2 He will judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with justice.
Elle julgará ao teu povo com justiça, e aos teus pobres com juizo.
3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness.
Os montes trarão paz ao povo e os outeiros com justiça.
4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the sons of the needy, and will break in pieces the oppressor.
Julgará os afflictos do povo, salvará os filhos do necessitado, e quebrantará o oppressor.
5 They shall fear thee while the sun endures, and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Temer-te-hão emquanto durar o sol e a lua, de geração em geração.
6 He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
Elle descerá como a chuva sobre a herva ceifada, como os chuveiros que humedecem a terra.
7 In his days righteousness shall flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon is no more.
Nos seus dias florescerá o justo, e abundancia de paz emquanto durar a lua.
8 He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
Dominará de mar a mar, e desde o rio até ás extremidades da terra.
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Aquelles que habitam no deserto se inclinarão ante elle, e os seus inimigos lamberão o pó.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Os reis de Tarsis e das ilhas trarão presentes; os reis de Sheba e de Saba offerecerão dons.
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.
E todos os reis se prostrarão perante elle; todas as nações o servirão.
12 For he will deliver a needy man when he cries, and a poor man, who has no helper.
Porque elle livrará ao necessitado quando clamar, como tambem ao afflicto e ao que não tem quem o ajude.
13 He will have pity on a poor and needy man, and he will save the souls of the needy.
Compadecer-se-ha do pobre e do afflicto, e salvará as almas dos necessitados.
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. And their blood will be precious in his sight,
Libertará as suas almas do engano e da violencia, e precioso será o seu sangue aos olhos d'elle.
15 and they shall live. And to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. And men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all the day long.
E viverá, e se lhe dará do oiro de Sheba; e continuamente se fará por elle oração; e todos os dias o bemdirão.
16 There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains. The fruit of it shall shake like Lebanon. And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
Haverá um punhado de trigo em terra sobre as cabeças dos montes; o seu fructo se abalará como o Libano, e os da cidade florescerão como a herva da terra.
17 His name shall endure forever. His name shall be continued as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in him. All nations shall call him blessed.
O seu nome permanecerá eternamente; o seu nome se irá propagando de paes a filhos emquanto o sol durar, e os homens serão abençoados n'elle; todas as nações lhe chamarão bemaventurado.
18 Blessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.
Bemdito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus d'Israel, que só elle faz maravilhas.
19 And blessed be his glorious name forever. And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Truly, and Truly.
E bemdito seja para sempre o seu nome glorioso; e encha-se toda a terra da sua gloria. Amen e Amen.
