Psalms 71

1 In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge. Let me never be put to shame.

۱ در تو‌ای خداوند پناه برده‌ام، پس تا به ابد خجل نخواهم شد.

2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me. Bow down thine ear to me, and save me.

۲ به عدالت خودمرا خلاصی ده و برهان. گوش خود را به من فراگیر و مرا نجات ده.

3 Be thou to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually resort. Thou have given commandment to save me, for thou are my rock and my fortress.

۳ برای من صخره سکونت باش تا همه وقت داخل آن شوم. تو به نجات من امر فرموده‌ای، زیرا صخره و قلعه من تو هستی.

4 Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of a wicked man, out of the hand of an unrighteous and cruel man.

۴ خدایا مرا از دست شریر برهان و از کف بدکار وظالم.

5 For thou are my hope, O lord Jehovah, my trust from my youth.

۵ زیرا‌ای خداوند یهوه، تو امید من هستی و ازطفولیتم اعتماد من بوده‌ای.

6 By thee I have been held up from the womb. Thou are he who took me out of my mother's bowels. My praise shall be continually of thee.

۶ از شکم بر توانداخته شده‌ام. از رحم مادرم ملجای من توبوده‌ای و تسبیح من دائم درباره تو خواهد بود.

7 I am as a wonder to many, but thou are my strong refuge.

۷ بسیاری را آیتی عجیب شده‌ام. لیکن تو ملجای زورآور من هستی.

8 My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, and with thy honor all the day.

۸ دهانم از تسبیح تو پر است واز کبریایی تو تمامی روز.

9 Cast me not off in the time of old age. Forsake me not when my strength fails.

۹ در زمان پیری مرا دور مینداز چون قوتم زایل شود مرا ترک منما.

10 For my enemies speak concerning me, and those who watch for my soul take counsel together,

۱۰ زیرا دشمنانم بر من حرف می‌زنند و مترصدان جانم با یکدیگرمشورت می‌کنند

11 saying, God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver.

۱۱ و می‌گویند: «خدا او را ترک کرده است. پس او را تعاقب کرده، بگیرید، زیرا که رهاننده‌ای نیست.»

12 O God, be not far from me. O my God, make haste to help me.

۱۲ ‌ای خدا از من دور مشو. خدایا به اعانت من تعجیل نما.

13 Let them be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my soul. Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor who seek my hurt.

۱۳ خصمان جانم خجل و فانی شوند.

14 But I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.

۱۴ و اما من دائم امیدوارخواهم بود و بر همه تسبیح تو خواهم افزود.

15 My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness, of thy salvation all the day, for I know not the numbers.

۱۵ زبانم عدالت تو را بیان خواهد کرد و نجاتت راتمامی روز. زیرا که حد شماره آن را نمی دانم.

16 I will come with the mighty acts of the lord Jehovah. I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

۱۶ در توانایی خداوند یهوه خواهم آمد. و ازعدالت تو و بس خبر خواهم داد.

17 O God, thou have taught me from my youth, and I have declared thy wondrous works until now.

۱۷ ‌ای خدا ازطفولیتم مرا تعلیم داده‌ای و تا الان، عجایب تو رااعلان کرده‌ام.

18 Yea, even when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not, until I have declared thy strength to a generation, thy might to everyone who is to come.

۱۸ پس‌ای خدا، مرا تا زمان پیری وسفید مویی نیز ترک مکن، تا این طبقه را از بازوی تو خبر دهم و جمیع آیندگان را از توانایی تو.

19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, thou who have done great things. O God, who is like thee?

۱۹ خدایا عدالت تو تا اعلی علیین است. توکارهای عظیم کرده‌ای. خدایا مانند تو کیست؟

20 Thou, who have shown us many and great troubles, will revive us again, and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

۲۰ ‌ای که تنگیهای بسیار و سخت را به ما نشان داده‌ای، رجوع کرده، باز ما را زنده خواهی ساخت؛ و برگشته، ما را از عمق های زمین برخواهی آورد.

21 Increase thou my greatness, and turn again and comfort me.

۲۱ بزرگی مرا مزید خواهی کرد وبرگشته، مرا تسلی خواهی بخشید.

22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God. To thee I will sing praises with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

۲۲ پس من نیزتو را با بربط خواهم ستود، یعنی راستی تو را‌ای خدای من. و تو را‌ای قدوس اسرائیل با عود ترنم خواهم نمود.

23 My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to thee, and my soul, which thou have redeemed.

۲۳ چون برای تو سرود می‌خوانم لبهایم بسیار شادی خواهد کرد و جانم نیز که آن را فدیه داده‌ای.

24 My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long. For they are put to shame, for they are confounded, who seek my hurt.

۲۴ زبانم نیز تمامی روز عدالت تورا ذکر خواهد کرد. زیرا آنانی که برای ضرر من می‌کوشیدند خجل و رسوا گردیدند.
