Psalms 70

1 Hasten, O God, to deliver me. Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

Para el director del coro. Un salmo de David. Para un memorial. Oh, Dios, ¡sálvame! ¡Apresúrate a ayudarme!

2 Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek after my soul. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

Por favor, vence y humilla a los que tratan de matarme. Haz que los que me hieren retrocedan con deshonra.

3 Let them be turned back because of their shame who say, Aha, aha.

Que los que se burlan de mi se horroricen de su derrota.

4 Let all those who seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee. And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Pero que Sean felices todos los que vienen a ti; que los que aman tu salvación siempre digan: “¡Cuán grande es Dios!”

5 But I am poor and needy. Make haste to me, O God. Thou are my help and my deliverer, O Jehovah. Delay thou not.

En lo que a mi concierne, soy un pobre y menesteroso. ¡Apresúrate, oh Dios, a ayudarme! ¡No esperes más!
