Psalms 7
1 O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
Плачевная песнь, которую Давид воспел Господу по делу Хуса, из племени Вениаминова. Господи, Боже мой! на Тебя я уповаю; спаси меня от всех гонителей моих и избавь меня;
2 lest they tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
да не исторгнет он, подобно льву, души моей, терзая, когда нет избавляющего.
3 O Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands,
Господи, Боже мой! если я что сделал, если есть неправда в руках моих,
4 if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me, (yea, I have delivered him without cause who was my adversary),
если я платил злом тому, кто был со мною в мире, - я, который спасал даже того, кто без причины стал моим врагом, -
5 let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it. Yea, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
то пусть враг преследует душу мою и настигнет, пусть втопчет в землю жизнь мою, и славу мою повергнет в прах.
6 Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger. Lift up thyself against the rage of my adversaries, and awake for me the justice thou have commanded.
Восстань, Господи, во гневе Твоем; подвигнись против неистовства врагов моих, пробудись для меня на суд, который Ты заповедал, -
7 And let the congregation of the peoples encompass thee about, and return thou on high over them.
сонм людей станет вокруг Тебя; над ним поднимись на высоту.
8 Jehovah shall judge the peoples. Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.
Господь судит народы. Суди меня, Господи, по правде моей и по непорочности моей во мне.
9 O let the wickedness of the wicked man come to an end, but establish thou the righteous man. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.
Да прекратится злоба нечестивых, а праведника подкрепи, ибо Ты испытуешь сердца и утробы, праведный Боже!
10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
Щит мой в Боге, спасающем правых сердцем.
11 God is a righteous judge. Yea, a God who has indignation every day.
Бог - судия праведный, и Бог - всякий день строго взыскивающий,
12 If a man does not repent, he will whet his sword. He has bent his bow, and made it ready.
если кто не обращается. Он изощряет Свой меч, напрягает лук Свой и направляет его,
13 He has also prepared for him the instruments of death. He makes his arrows fiery.
приготовляет для него сосуды смерти, стрелы Свои делает палящими.
14 Behold the wicked man, he travails with iniquity. Yea, he has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
Вот, нечестивый зачал неправду, был чреват злобою и родил себе ложь;
15 He has made a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
рыл ров, и выкопал его, и упал в яму, которую приготовил:
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own scalp.
злоба его обратится на его голову, и злодейство его упадет на его темя.
17 I will give thanks to Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.
Славлю Господа по правде Его и пою имени Господа Всевышнего.
