Psalms 54

1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy might.

௧தாவீது அளித்த பாடல்களில் ஒன்று. தேவனே, உமது பெயரினிமித்தம் என்னைப் பாதுகாத்து, உமது வல்லமையினால் எனக்கு நியாயம் செய்யும்.

2 Hear my prayer, O God. Give ear to the words of my mouth.

௨தேவனே, என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டு, என்னுடைய வாயின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளும்.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul. They have not set God before them. (Selah)

௩அந்நியர் எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புகிறார்கள்; கொடியவர்கள் என்னுடைய உயிரை வாங்கத் தேடுகிறார்கள்; தேவனைத் தங்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தி வைப்பதில்லை. (சேலா)

4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is of those who uphold my soul.

௪இதோ, தேவன் எனக்கு உதவி செய்பவர்; ஆண்டவர் என்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவை ஆதரிக்கிறவர்களோடு இருக்கிறார்.

5 He will requite the evil to my enemies. Destroy thou them in thy truth.

௫அவர் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்குத் தீமைக்குத் தீமையைச் சரிக்கட்டுவார், உமது சத்தியத்திற்காக அவர்களை அழியும்.

6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to thee. I will give thanks to thy name, O Jehovah, for it is good.

௬உற்சாகத்துடன் நான் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன்; யெகோவாவே, உமது பெயரைத் துதிப்பேன், அது நலமானது.

7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen it upon my enemies.

௭அவர் எல்லா நெருக்கத்தையும் நீக்கி, என்னை விடுவித்தார்; என்னுடைய கண் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளில் நீதி சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் கண்டது.
