Psalms 54

1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy might.

Salva-me, ó Deus, pelo teu nome, e faze-me justiça pelo teu poder.

2 Hear my prayer, O God. Give ear to the words of my mouth.

Ó Deus, ouve a minha oração, inclina os teus ouvidos às palavras da minha boca.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul. They have not set God before them. (Selah)

Porque os estranhos se levantam contra mim, e tiranos procuram a minha vida: não tem posto Deus perante os seus olhos (Selah)

4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is of those who uphold my soul.

Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador, o Senhor está com aqueles que susteem a minha alma.

5 He will requite the evil to my enemies. Destroy thou them in thy truth.

Ele recompensará com o mal aqueles que me andam espiando: destroi-os na tua verdade.

6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to thee. I will give thanks to thy name, O Jehovah, for it is good.

Eu te oferecerei voluntariamente sacrifícios, louvarei o teu nome ó Senhor, porque é bom.

7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble, and my eye has seen it upon my enemies.

Pois me tem livrado de toda a angústia; e os meus olhos viram o meu desejo sobre os meus inimigos.
