Psalms 49
1 Hear this, all ye peoples. Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world,
၁လူအပေါင်းတို့၊ဤစကားကိုနာယူကြလော့။ အယုတ်အမြတ်၊ဆင်းရဲချမ်းသာမရွေး၊ အရပ်တကာရှိလူခပ်သိမ်းတို့နားထောင်ကြလော့။
2 both low and high, rich and poor together.

3 My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
၃ငါသည်ရှင်းလင်းပြတ်သားစွာတွေးတောဆင် ခြင်မည်။ အသိပညာနှင့်ယှဉ်သောစကားများကို ပြောဆိုမည်။
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
၄ငါသည်စကားပုံများကိုအာရုံစိုက်၍စဉ်းစားမည်။ ယင်းတို့၏အနက်အဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ်ကိုစောင်းတီးလျက် ရှင်းလင်းဖော်ပြမည်။
5 Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels encompasses me about?
၅ဆိုးယုတ်သည့်ရန်သူတို့သည်ငါ့အား ဝိုင်းရံထားသဖြင့်ငါသည်ဘေးသင့်၍နေ သော်လည်း ကြောက်လန့်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။
6 Those who trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches,
၆ထိုသူတို့သည်မိမိတို့၏စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာကို ယုံကြည်အားကိုးသူများ၊ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝမှုကို ကြွားဝါသူများဖြစ်ပေသည်။
7 none can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him
၇လူသည်အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှမိမိကိုယ်ကို မကယ်နိုင်၊ မိမိအသက်၏တန်ဖိုးကိုထာဝရဘုရား အား မပေးမဆပ်နိုင်။
8 (for the redemption of their life is costly, and it fails forever),
၈အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်လူ၏အသက်တန်ဖိုးသည် ကြီးလွန်းသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ သူ့မှာအဘယ်အခါ၌မျှအသက်ဖိုး ပေးနိုင်စွမ်းမရှိသဖြင့် အဘယ်သို့လျှင်ထာဝစဉ်အသက်ရှင်လျက် နေနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်သို့လျှင်သင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းသို့မဆင်းဘဲ နေနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။
9 that he should still live always, that he should not see corruption.
၉
10 For he shall see it. Wise men die. The fool and the brutish alike perish, and leave their wealth to others.
၁၀ပညာရှိတို့သည်လည်းကောင်း၊မိုက်မဲ၍ အသိဉာဏ်တုံးသူတို့သည်လည်းကောင်း သေခြင်းတရားကိုမလွန်ဆန်နိုင်ကြောင်းကို မည်သူမဆိုတွေ့မြင်နိုင်ပေသည်။ သူတို့အားလုံးပင်မိမိတို့၏ဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းများကို သားမြေးများအတွက်ထားခဲ့ရကြ၏။
11 Their inward thought is that their houses are forever, their dwelling-places to all generations. They call their lands after their own names.
၁၁အခါတစ်ပါးကသူတို့သည်မြေပိုင်ရှင်များ ဖြစ်ခဲ့ဖူးသော်လည်း ယခုအခါသင်္ချိုင်းတွင်းများသာလျှင် ထိုသူတို့အခါခပ်သိမ်းနေထိုင်ရာ၊ ထာဝရနေအိမ်များဖြစ်ပေသည်။
12 Even a man in splendor does not abide. He is like the beasts that perish.
၁၂လူသည်စည်းစိမ်ချမ်းသာခံစား၍တည်မြဲ သည်မဟုတ်။ သူသည်တိရစ္ဆာန်များကဲ့သို့ပင်သေရပေလိမ့်မည်။
13 This their way is their folly. Yet after them men approve their sayings. (Selah)
၁၃မိမိတို့ကိုယ်ကိုယုံကြည်အားကိုးသူများ၊ မိမိတို့စည်းစိမ်ချမ်းသာဖြင့်ကျေနပ်နေသူ များ၏ ကံကြမ္မာကိုကြည့်ကြလော့။
14 They are appointed as a flock for Sheol. Death shall be their shepherd, and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, that there be no habitation for it. (Sheol h7585)
၁၄သူတို့သည်သိုးများကဲ့သို့သေကြရ၏။ သေမင်းသည်သူတို့၏သိုးထိန်းဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာများသည်မိမိတို့အိမ်နှင့် ဝေးကွာလှသည့်မရဏာနိုင်ငံတွင် မကြာမီပုပ်ပျက်သွားစဉ်သူတော်ကောင်းတို့ သည် သူတို့ကိုအနိုင်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ (Sheol h7585)
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
၁၅သို့ရာတွင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ငါ့ကို ကယ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ သေမင်း၏လက်မှငါ့ကိုကယ်တင်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ (Sheol h7585)
16 Be not thou afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased.
၁၆လူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သည်ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝကာ သူ၏စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာသည်လည်းပို၍ပင် တိုးပွားလာသောအခါသင်သည် စိတ်မကောင်းမဖြစ်နှင့်။
17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away. His glory shall not descend after him.
၁၇သူသည်သေသောအခါထိုစည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာကို ယူ၍မသွားနိုင်။ ယင်းစည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာသည်သူနှင့်အတူသင်္ချိုင်း တွင်းသို့ လိုက်ပါသွားနိုင်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။
18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul (and men praise thee, when thou do well for thyself),
၁၈လူသည်မိမိဘဝနှင့်ကျေနပ်၍ မိမိ၏အောင်မြင်မှုအတွက်အချီးအမွမ်း ခံရစေကာမူ
19 he shall go to the generation of his fathers. They shall never see the light.
၁၉သေချိန်၌ဘိုးဘေးတို့ရှိရာထာဝစဉ်မှောင် မိုက်လျက် နေသည့်အရပ်သို့သွားရမည်။
20 A man who is in splendor, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.
၂၀လူသည်စည်းစိမ်ချမ်းသာခံစားရသော်လည်း တိရစ္ဆာန်များကဲ့သို့ပင်သေရပေလိမ့်မည်။
