Psalms 47

1 O clap your hands, all ye peoples. Shout to God with the voice of triumph.

Para el músico principal. Un salmo de los hijos de Coré. Oh, aplaudid todas las naciones. ¡Grita a Dios con voz de triunfo!

2 For Jehovah Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

Porque Yahvé el Altísimo es imponente. Es un gran Rey sobre toda la tierra.

3 He subdues peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

Él somete a las naciones bajo nosotros, y pueblos bajo nuestros pies.

4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)

Él elige nuestra herencia por nosotros, la gloria de Jacob a quien amó. (Selah)

5 God has gone up with a shout, Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

Dios ha subido con un grito, Yahvé con el sonido de una trompeta.

6 Sing praise to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises.

¡Cantad alabanzas a Dios! ¡Canten alabanzas! ¡Cantad alabanzas a nuestro Rey! ¡Cantad alabanzas!

7 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing ye praises with understanding.

Porque Dios es el Rey de toda la tierra. Canta alabanzas con comprensión.

8 God reigns over the nations. God sits upon his holy throne.

Dios reina sobre las naciones. Dios se sienta en su santo trono.

9 The nobles of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted.

Los príncipes de los pueblos están reunidos, el pueblo del Dios de Abraham. Porque los escudos de la tierra pertenecen a Dios. Es muy exaltado.
