Psalms 46

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Bog nam je utoèište i (sila) pomoænik, koji se u nevoljama brzo nalazi.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas,

Zato se neæemo bojati, da bi se zemlja pomjestila, i gore se prevalile u srce morima.

3 though the waters of it roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with the swelling of it. (Selah)

Neka buèi i kipi voda njihova, nek se planine tresu od vala njihovijeh;

4 There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

Potoci vesele grad Božji, sveti stan višnjega.

5 God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her, and that right early.

Bog je usred njega, neæe se pomjestiti, Bog mu pomaže od zore.

6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved, he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Uzbuèaše narodi, zadrmaše se carstva; ali on pusti glas svoj i zemlja se rastapaše.

7 Jehovah of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)

Gospod nad vojskama s nama je, braniè je naš Bog Jakovljev.

8 Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he has made in the earth.

Hodite i vidite djela Gospoda, koji uèini èudesa na zemlji,

9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two. He burns the chariots in the fire.

Prekide ratove do kraja zemlje, luk prebi, koplje slomi, i kola sažeže ognjem.

10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.

Utolite i poznajte da sam ja Bog; ja sam uzvišen po narodima, uzvišen na zemlji.

11 Jehovah of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
