Psalms 46
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Pour le chef musicien. Par les fils de Koré. D'après Alamoth. Dieu est notre refuge et notre force, une aide très présente dans les difficultés.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas,
C'est pourquoi nous n'aurons pas peur, même si la terre change, bien que les montagnes soient ébranlées au cœur des mers;
3 though the waters of it roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with the swelling of it. (Selah)

4 There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
Il y a un fleuve dont les flots réjouissent la cité de Dieu, le lieu saint des tentes du Très-Haut.
5 God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her, and that right early.
Dieu est en elle. Elle ne sera pas déplacée. Dieu l'aidera à l'aube.
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved, he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
Les nations étaient en colère. Les royaumes ont été bouleversés. Il a élevé la voix et la terre a fondu.
7 Jehovah of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)

8 Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he has made in the earth.
Venez, voyez les œuvres de l'Éternel, quelles désolations il a faites sur la terre.
9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two. He burns the chariots in the fire.
Il fait cesser les guerres jusqu'à l'extrémité de la terre. Il casse l'arc, et brise la lance. Il brûle les chars dans le feu.
10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.
« Sois tranquille, et sache que je suis Dieu. Je serai exalté parmi les nations. Je serai exalté sur la terre. »
11 Jehovah of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
