Psalms 37
1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, nor be thou envious against those who work unrighteousness.
௧தாவீதின் பாடல். பொல்லாதவர்களைக்குறித்து எரிச்சலடையாதே; நியாயக்கேடு செய்கிறவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதே.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
௨அவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் சீக்கிரமாய் அறுக்கப்பட்டு, பச்சைத்தாவரத்தைப்போல் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.
3 Trust in Jehovah, and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness.
௩யெகோவாவை நம்பி நன்மைசெய்; தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்து சத்தியத்தை மேய்ந்துகொள்.
4 Delight thyself also in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
௪யெகோவாவிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார்.
5 Commit thy way to Jehovah. Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.
௫உன் வழியைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கச்செய்வார்.
6 And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy justice as the noon-day.
௬உன் நீதியை வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், உன் நியாயத்தைப் பட்டப்பகலைப்போலவும் விளங்கச்செய்வார்.
7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
௭யெகோவாவை நோக்கி அமர்ந்து, அவருக்குக் காத்திரு; காரியசித்தியுள்ளவன் மேலும் தீவினைகளைச் செய்கிற மனிதன் மேலும் எரிச்சலாகாதே.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Fret not thyself, it tends only to evil-doing.
௮கோபத்தை தள்ளி, கடுங்கோபத்தை விட்டுவிடு; பொல்லாப்புச் செய்ய ஏதுவான எரிச்சல் உனக்கு வேண்டாம்.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.
௯பொல்லாதவர்கள் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவார்கள்; யெகோவாவுக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்வார்கள்.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked man shall not be. Yea, thou shall diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.
௧0இன்னும் கொஞ்சநேரந்தான், அப்போது துன்மார்க்கன் இருக்கமாட்டான்; அவன் நிலையை உற்று விசாரித்தாயானால் அவன் இல்லை.
11 But the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
௧௧சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்து, மிகுந்த சமாதானத்தினால் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பார்கள்.
12 The wicked man plots against the righteous man, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
௧௨துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமானுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீங்கு நினைத்து, அவன்மேல் பல்லைக் கடிக்கிறான்.
13 The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
௧௩ஆண்டவர் அவனைப் பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்; அவனுடைய நாள் வருகிறதென்று காண்கிறார்.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill such as are upright in the way.
௧௪சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை வீழ்த்தவும், செம்மை மார்க்கத்தாரை விழசெய்யவும், துன்மார்க்கர்கள் வாளை உருவி, தங்கள் வில்லை நாணேற்றுகிறார்கள்.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
௧௫ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் வாள் அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்திற்குள் உருவிப்போகும்; அவர்கள் வில்லுகள் முறியும்.
16 Better is a little that the righteous man has than the abundance of many wicked men.
௧௬அநேக துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்கு இருக்கிற திரளான செல்வத்தைவிட, நீதிமானுக்குள்ள கொஞ்சமே நல்லது.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Jehovah upholds the righteous.
௧௭துன்மார்க்கருடைய கரங்கள் முறியும்; நீதிமான்களையோ யெகோவா தாங்குகிறார்.
18 Jehovah knows the days of the perfect, and their inheritance shall be forever.
௧௮உத்தமர்களின் நாட்களைக் யெகோவா அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர்கள் சுதந்தரம் என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்.
19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
௧௯அவர்கள் ஆபத்துக்காலத்திலே வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருந்து, பஞ்சகாலத்திலே திருப்தியடைவார்கள்.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah is as the fat of lambs: they shall disintegrate; they shall disintegrate away into smoke.
௨0துன்மார்க்கர்களோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள், யெகோவாவுடைய எதிரிகள் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளின் கொழுப்பைப்போல புகைந்து போவார்கள், அவர்கள் புகையாய்ப் புகைந்து போவார்கள்.
21 The wicked man borrows, and pays not again, but the righteous man deals graciously, and gives.
௨௧துன்மார்க்கன் கடன் வாங்கிச் செலுத்தாமற் போகிறான்; நீதிமானோ இரங்கிக்கொடுக்கிறான்.
22 For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land, and those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
௨௨அவரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்; அவரால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவார்கள்.
23 A man's goings are established by Jehovah, and he delights in his way.
௨௩நல்ல மனிதனுடைய நடைகள் யெகோவாவால் உறுதிப்படும், அவனுடைய வழியின்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Jehovah upholds him with his hand.
௨௪அவன் விழுந்தாலும் தள்ளப்பட்டு போவதில்லை; யெகோவா தமது கையினால் அவனைத் தாங்குகிறார்.
25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen a righteous man forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
௨௫நான் இளைஞனாயிருந்தேன், முதிர்வயதுள்ளவனுமானேன்; ஆனாலும் நீதிமான் கைவிடப்பட்டதையும், அவன் சந்ததி அப்பத்திற்கு பிச்சை எடுக்கிறதையும் நான் காணவில்லை.
26 All the day long he deals graciously, and lends, and his seed is blessed.
௨௬அவன் எப்பொழுதும் இரங்கிக் கடன் கொடுக்கிறான், அவன் சந்ததி ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும்.
27 Depart from evil, and do good, and dwell for evermore.
௨௭தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய்; என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பாய்.
28 For Jehovah loves justice, and forsakes not his sanctified. They are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
௨௮யெகோவா நியாயத்தை விரும்புகிறவர்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களைக் கைவிடுவதில்லை; அவர்கள் என்றைக்கும் காக்கப்படுவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய சந்ததியோ அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோகும்.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.
௨௯நீதிமான்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, என்றைக்கும் அதிலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்.
30 The mouth of a righteous man talks of wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
௩0நீதிமானுடைய வாய் ஞானத்தை சொல்லி, அவனுடைய நாவு நியாயத்தைப் பேசும்.
31 The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
௩௧அவனுடைய தேவன் அருளிய வேதம் அவன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவன் நடைகளில் ஒன்றும் பிசகுவதில்லை.
32 A wicked man watches a righteous man, and seeks to kill him.
௩௨துன்மார்க்கன் நீதிமான்மேல் கண்வைத்து, அவனைக் கொல்ல வகைதேடுகிறான்.
33 Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
௩௩யெகோவாவோ அவனை இவன் கையில் விடுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்போது, அவனை தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்ப்பதுமில்லை.
34 Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to inherit the land. When sinners are cut off, thou shall see it.
௩௪நீ யெகோவாவுக்குக் காத்திருந்து, அவருடைய வழியைக் கைக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது நீ பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்கு அவர் உன்னை உயர்த்துவார்; துன்மார்க்கர்கள் அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவதை நீ காண்பாய்.
35 I have seen a wicked man in great power, and spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
௩௫கொடிய பலவந்தனான ஒரு துன்மார்க்கனைக் கண்டேன் அவன் தனக்கேற்ற நிலத்தில் முளைத்திருக்கிற பச்சைமரத்தைப்போல் தழைத்தவனாயிருந்தான்.
36 But I passed by, and, lo, he was not. Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
௩௬ஆனாலும் அவன் ஒழிந்துபோனான்; பாருங்கள், அவன் இல்லை; நான் மறுபடியும் போனேன், அவன் காணப்படவில்லை.
37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for there is a happy end to the man of peace.
௩௭நீ உத்தமனை நோக்கி, செம்மையானவனைப் பார்த்திரு; அந்த மனிதனுடைய முடிவு சமாதானம்.
38 As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The end of the wicked shall be cut off.
௩௮அக்கிரமக்காரர் ஒன்றாக அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; அறுக்கப்பட்டுபோவதே துன்மார்க்கர்களின் முடிவு.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble,
௩௯நீதிமான்களுடைய இரட்சிப்பு யெகோவாவால் வரும்; இக்கட்டுக்காலத்தில் அவரே அவர்கள் அடைக்கலம்.
40 and Jehovah helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from sinners, and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
௪0யெகோவா அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்து, அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார்; அவர்கள் அவரை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், அவர்களைத் துன்மார்க்கர்களுடைய கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து காப்பாற்றுவார்.
