Psalms 37
1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, nor be thou envious against those who work unrighteousness.
No te enojes por causa de los malhechores, ni tengas envidia de los que hacen maldad.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Porque pronto serán cortados como hierba, y se secarán como las plantas verdes.
3 Trust in Jehovah, and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness.
ten fe en el Señor y haz el bien; vive en la tierra, y busca la justicia.
4 Delight thyself also in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
Deléitate en el Señor, y él te dará los deseos de tu corazón.
5 Commit thy way to Jehovah. Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.
Pon tu vida en las manos del Señor; confía en él; y él lo hará.
6 And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy justice as the noon-day.
Y hará que tu justicia se vea como la luz, y tu causa como el resplandor del sol.
7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
Descansa en el Señor, esperando en silencio a que él te ayude; no te enojes por el hombre que prospera en sus caminos y por él que hace planes Malvados.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Fret not thyself, it tends only to evil-doing.
Pon fin a tu ira y no seas más amargo; no cedas al sentimiento de enojo que es la causa del pecado.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.
Porque los impíos serán destruidos; más los que esperan en Jehová tendrán la tierra por heredad.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked man shall not be. Yea, thou shall diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.
Porque en poco tiempo el malvado se irá: irás en busca de su lugar, y no estará allí.
11 But the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Mas los gentiles tendrán la tierra por heredad; se deleitarán en la paz sin medida.
12 The wicked man plots against the righteous man, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
El pecador tiene planes malos contra los rectos, levantando la voz de ira contra él.
13 The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
El Señor se burlará de él, porque sabe que al malvado se le acerca su hora.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill such as are upright in the way.
Los malvados sacaron sus espadas, sus arcos doblados; para aplastar a los pobres y para matar a los que son rectos en sus caminos.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Pero su propia espada entrará en su propio corazón, y sus arcos se romperán.
16 Better is a little that the righteous man has than the abundance of many wicked men.
Lo poco que tiene el hombre bueno es mejor que la riqueza de los malhechores.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Jehovah upholds the righteous.
Porque las armas de los malvados se romperán; pero el Señor es el sostén de los buenos.
18 Jehovah knows the days of the perfect, and their inheritance shall be forever.
Los días de los rectos son contados por el Señor, y su heredad será para siempre.
19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
No serán avergonzados en el mal tiempo, y en los días cuando todos necesitan comida, tendrán suficiente.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah is as the fat of lambs: they shall disintegrate; they shall disintegrate away into smoke.
Mas los malhechores vendrán a la perdición, y los que aborrecen a Jehová serán como la grasa de los corderos, y serán quemados; ellos se convertirán en humo, y nunca más serán vistos.
21 The wicked man borrows, and pays not again, but the righteous man deals graciously, and gives.
El pecador toma dinero y no lo devuelve; pero el hombre recto tiene misericordia y da a los demás.
22 For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land, and those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
Los que tienen la bendición del Señor tendrán la tierra por su herencia; pero los que son malditos por él serán cortados.
23 A man's goings are established by Jehovah, and he delights in his way.
El Señor ordena los pasos de un hombre bueno y se deleita en su camino.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Jehovah upholds him with his hand.
Aunque tenga una caída, no estará sin ayuda, porque la mano del Señor lo está apoyando.
25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen a righteous man forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
He sido joven, y ahora soy viejo, pero no he visto al hombre bueno sin ayuda, ni a sus hijos mendigando por pan.
26 All the day long he deals graciously, and lends, and his seed is blessed.
En Todo tiempo está listo para tener misericordia y dar; su descendencia son una bendición.
27 Depart from evil, and do good, and dwell for evermore.
Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; y vivirás para siempre.
28 For Jehovah loves justice, and forsakes not his sanctified. They are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
Porque el Señor es amante de la justicia, y cuida de sus santos; se mantendrán seguros para siempre; pero la simiente de los malhechores será cortada.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever.
Los rectos tendrán la tierra por su herencia, y vivirán allí para siempre.
30 The mouth of a righteous man talks of wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
La boca del hombre bueno dice palabras de sabiduría; la charla de su lengua es de justicia.
31 The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
La ley de su Dios está en su corazón; por tanto; sus pies no resbalaran.
32 A wicked man watches a righteous man, and seeks to kill him.
Los pecadores están mirando al hombre recto, queriendo matarlo.
33 Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
El Señor no lo dará en sus manos, ni estará contra él cuando sea juzgado.
34 Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to inherit the land. When sinners are cut off, thou shall see it.
Espera al Señor, y sigue su camino; y serás levantado, y tendrás la tierra por tu herencia: cuando los malhechores sean cortados. tú lo verás.
35 I have seen a wicked man in great power, and spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
He visto al malhechor enaltecido, cubriendo la tierra como un árbol frondoso.
36 But I passed by, and, lo, he was not. Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
Pero llegó a su fin, y no hubo señales de él; Hice una búsqueda por él y él no estaba allí.
37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for there is a happy end to the man of peace.
Presta atención al buen hombre, y toma nota del recto; porque el final dichoso de ese hombre es la paz.
38 As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The end of the wicked shall be cut off.
Pero en cuanto a los pecadores, serán cortados juntos; el final de los malhechores es la destrucción.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble,
Pero el Señor es el salvador de los justos; él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de angustia.
40 and Jehovah helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from sinners, and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
Y el Señor los ayudará, y los salvará; los sacará de las manos de los malhechores, y será su salvador, porque confiaron en él.
