Psalms 34
1 I will bless Jehovah at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
१दाऊद का भजन जब वह अबीमेलेक के सामने बौरहा बना, और अबीमेलेक ने उसे निकाल दिया, और वह चला गया मैं हर समय यहोवा को धन्य कहा करूँगा; उसकी स्तुति निरन्तर मेरे मुख से होती रहेगी।
2 My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
२मैं यहोवा पर घमण्ड करूँगा; नम्र लोग यह सुनकर आनन्दित होंगे।
3 O magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt his name together.
३मेरे साथ यहोवा की बड़ाई करो, और आओ हम मिलकर उसके नाम की स्तुति करें;
4 I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
४मैं यहोवा के पास गया, तब उसने मेरी सुन ली, और मुझे पूरी रीति से निर्भय किया।
5 They looked to him, and were radiant, and their faces shall never be confounded.
५जिन्होंने उसकी ओर दृष्टि की, उन्होंने ज्योति पाई; और उनका मुँह कभी काला न होने पाया।
6 This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
६इस दीन जन ने पुकारा तब यहोवा ने सुन लिया, और उसको उसके सब कष्टों से छुड़ा लिया।
7 The agent of Jehovah encamps round about those who fear him, and delivers them.
७यहोवा के डरवैयों के चारों ओर उसका दूत छावनी किए हुए उनको बचाता है।
8 O taste and see that Jehovah is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
८चखकर देखो कि यहोवा कैसा भला है! क्या ही धन्य है वह मनुष्य जो उसकी शरण लेता है।
9 O fear Jehovah, ye his sanctified, for there is no want to those who fear him.
९हे यहोवा के पवित्र लोगों, उसका भय मानो, क्योंकि उसके डरवैयों को किसी बात की घटी नहीं होती!
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.
१०जवान सिंहों को तो घटी होती और वे भूखे भी रह जाते हैं; परन्तु यहोवा के खोजियों को किसी भली वस्तु की घटी न होगी।
11 Come, ye children, hearken to me. I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
११हे बच्चों, आओ मेरी सुनो, मैं तुम को यहोवा का भय मानना सिखाऊँगा।
12 What man is he who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
१२वह कौन मनुष्य है जो जीवन की इच्छा रखता, और दीर्घायु चाहता है ताकि भलाई देखे?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking deceit.
१३अपनी जीभ को बुराई से रोक रख, और अपने मुँह की चौकसी कर कि उससे छल की बात न निकले।
14 Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
१४बुराई को छोड़ और भलाई कर; मेल को ढूँढ़ और उसी का पीछा कर।
15 The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer.
१५यहोवा की आँखें धर्मियों पर लगी रहती हैं, और उसके कान भी उनकी दुहाई की ओर लगे रहते हैं।
16 (The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.)
१६यहोवा बुराई करनेवालों के विमुख रहता है, ताकि उनका स्मरण पृथ्वी पर से मिटा डाले।
17 They cried, and Jehovah heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.
१७धर्मी दुहाई देते हैं और यहोवा सुनता है, और उनको सब विपत्तियों से छुड़ाता है।
18 Jehovah is near to those who are of a broken heart, and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.
१८यहोवा टूटे मनवालों के समीप रहता है, और पिसे हुओं का उद्धार करता है।
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.
१९धर्मी पर बहुत सी विपत्तियाँ पड़ती तो हैं, परन्तु यहोवा उसको उन सबसे मुक्त करता है।
20 He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken.
२०वह उसकी हड्डी-हड्डी की रक्षा करता है; और उनमें से एक भी टूटने नहीं पाता।
21 Evil shall kill the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
२१दुष्ट अपनी बुराई के द्वारा मारा जाएगा; और धर्मी के बैरी दोषी ठहरेंगे।
22 Jehovah redeems the soul of his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
२२यहोवा अपने दासों का प्राण मोल लेकर बचा लेता है; और जितने उसके शरणागत हैं उनमें से कोई भी दोषी न ठहरेगा।
