Psalms 25
1 To thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.
Psalm Dawida. Do ciebie, PANIE, wznoszę moją duszę.
2 O my God, in thee I have trusted. Let me not be put to shame. Let not my enemies triumph over me.
Mój Boże, tobie ufam, niech nie doznam wstydu; niech moi wrogowie nie tryumfują nade mną.
3 Yea, none who wait for thee shall be put to shame. They shall be put to shame who deal treacherously without cause.
Zaprawdę nikt, kto ciebie oczekuje, nie dozna wstydu; zawstydzą się ci, którzy bez powodu popełniają nieprawość.
4 Show me thy ways, O Jehovah. Teach me thy paths.
PANIE, daj mi poznać twe drogi, naucz mnie twoich ścieżek.
5 Guide me in thy truth, and teach me. For thou are the God of my salvation. For thee do I wait all the day.
Prowadź mnie w twojej prawdzie i pouczaj mnie, bo ty jesteś Bogiem mego zbawienia; ciebie co dzień oczekuję.
6 Remember, O Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving kindness. For they have been ever of old.
Pamiętaj o swoim miłosierdziu, PANIE, i o twoich łaskach, które trwają od wieków.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. According to thy loving kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.
I nie wspominaj grzechów mojej młodości i moich występków; pamiętaj o mnie według twego miłosierdzia, ze względu na twą dobroć, PANIE.
8 Good and upright is Jehovah. Therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
PAN [jest] dobry i prawy, dlatego grzeszników naucza drogi.
9 The meek he will guide in justice, and the meek he will teach his way.
Poprowadzi pokornych w sprawiedliwości, pokornych nauczy swojej drogi.
10 All the paths of Jehovah are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Wszystkie ścieżki PANA [to] miłosierdzie i prawda dla tych, którzy strzegą jego przymierza i świadectwa.
11 For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
PANIE, przez wzgląd na twoje imię przebacz moją nieprawość, bo jest wielka.
12 What man is he who fears Jehovah? Him he shall instruct in the way that he shall choose.
Który to człowiek, co się boi PANA? Nauczy go drogi, którą ma wybrać.
13 His soul shall dwell at ease, and his seed shall inherit the land.
Jego dusza będzie trwać w szczęściu i jego potomstwo odziedziczy ziemię.
14 The friendship of Jehovah is with those who fear him, and he will show them his covenant.
Tajemnica PANA jest objawiona tym, którzy się go boją, oznajmi im swoje przymierze.
15 My eyes are ever toward Jehovah, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
Moje oczy nieustannie [patrzą] na PANA, bo on wyrwie z sidła moje nogi.
16 Turn thee to me, and have mercy upon me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
Zwróć się ku mnie i zmiłuj się nade mną, bo jestem nędzny i opuszczony.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged. O bring thou me out of my distresses.
Utrapienia mego serca rozmnożyły się, wyzwól mnie z moich udręczeń.
18 Consider my affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins.
Spójrz na moje utrapienie i trud i przebacz wszystkie moje grzechy.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many. And they hate me with cruel hatred.
Popatrz, jak wielu jest moich wrogów i jak strasznie mnie nienawidzą.
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.
Strzeż mojej duszy i ocal mnie, abym nie doznał wstydu; w tobie bowiem pokładam nadzieję.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for thee.
Niech mnie strzegą uczciwość i prawość, bo ciebie oczekuję.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all of his troubles.
Boże, wybaw Izraela ze wszystkich jego udręczeń.
