< Psalms 2 >
1 Why do the nations rage, and the peoples meditate vain things?
Adɛn nti na amanaman no hyehyɛ bɔne ho na nnipa no bɔ pɔw hunu yi?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying,
Asase so ahemfo sɔre gyina na sodifo ka wɔn ho bɔ mu tia Awurade ne Nea Wɔasra no no.
3 Let us break their bonds apart, and cast away their cords from us.
Wɔka se, “Momma yemmubu wɔn nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn na yɛntow wɔn mpokyerɛ ngu.”
4 He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Nea ɔte agua so wɔ ɔsoro no serew; Awurade di wɔn ho fɛw.
5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and vex them in his great displeasure.
Afei ɔka wɔn anim wɔ nʼabufuw mu, hunahuna wɔn wɔ nʼabufuwhyew mu, ka se,
6 Yet I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
“Masi me Hene wɔ Sion, me bepɔw kronkron no so.”
7 I will tell of the decree. Jehovah said to me, Thou are my Son, this day I have begotten thee.
Mɛpae mu aka Awurade ahyɛde: Ɔka kyerɛɛ me se, “Woyɛ me Ba; nnɛ mayɛ wʼAgya.
8 Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, and the outermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Bisa me, na mede amanaman nyinaa bɛyɛ wʼagyapade, asase ano nyinaa bɛyɛ wo de.
9 Thou shall break them with a rod of iron, thou shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Wode dade ahempema bedi wɔn so; na woabobɔ wɔn sɛ ɔnwemfo ahina.”
10 Now therefore be wise, O ye kings. Be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Enti mo ahemfo, munsua nyansa; monkae kɔkɔbɔ yi, mo asase sodifo.
11 Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Momfa osuro nsom Awurade na monsɛpɛw mo ho ahopopo mu.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
Mumfew Ɔba no ano, na ne bo amfuw na mo akwan de mo bɛkɔ ɔsɛe mu, efisɛ nʼabufuwhyew tumi sɔre mpofirim. Nhyira ne wɔn a woguan toa no nyinaa.
