Psalms 148

1 Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens. Praise him in the heights.

Хвалите Господа на небесима, хвалите Га на висини.

2 Praise ye him, all his agents. Praise ye him, all his host.

Хвалите Га, сви анђели Његови, хвалите Га, све војске Његове!

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon. Praise him, all ye stars of light.

Хвалите Га, сунце и месече, хвалите Га, све звезде сјајне!

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.

Хвалите Га, небеса над небесима и водо над небесима!

5 Let them praise the name of Jehovah. For he commanded, and they were created.

Нека хвале име Господње, јер Он заповеди и створише се.

6 He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which shall not pass away.

Постави их засвагда и зававек, даде наредбу, која неће проћи.

7 Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps,

Хвалите Господа на земљи, велике рибе и све бездане;

8 fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind, fulfilling his word,

Огањ и град, снег и магла, ветар силни, који извршује реч Његову.

9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,

Горе и сви хумови, родна дрвета и сви кедри,

10 beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds,

Звери и сва стока, бубине и птице крилате,

11 kings of the earth and all peoples, rulers and all judges of the earth,

Цареви земаљски и сви народи, кнезови и све судије земаљске,

12 both young men and virgins, old men and sons.

Момци и девојке, старци и деца

13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

Нека хвале име Господње; јер је само Његово име узвишено, слава Његова на земљи и на небу.

14 And he has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his sanctified, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye Jehovah.

Он је узвисио рог народа свог, славу свих светаца својих, синова Израиљевих, народа који је близу Њега.
