Psalms 143
1 Hear my prayer, O Jehovah. Give ear to my supplications. In thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
Псалом Давидів.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant. For in thy sight no man living is righteous.
І на суд не вступай із рабом Своїм, — бо жоден живий перед обличчям Твоїм справедли́вим не буде!
3 For the enemy has persecuted my soul. He has smitten my life down to the ground. He has made me to dwell in dark places as those who have been long dead.
Бо неприятель переслідує душу мою, то́пче живую мою до землі. Посадив мене в те́мряву, як мерці́в цього світу!
4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.
Омліває мій дух у мені, кам'яні́є в нутрі́ моїм серце моє.
5 I remember the days of old. I meditate on all thy doings. I muse on the work of thy hands.
Я згадую дні старода́вні, над усі́ми Твоїми чинами розду́мую, говорю́ про діла́ Твоїх рук.
6 I spread forth my hands to thee. My soul is as a weary land for thee. (Selah)
Я ру́ки свої простягаю до Тебе, душа моя пра́гне Тебе, як ́ пересо́хла земля! (Се́ла)
7 Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah, my spirit fails. Hide not thy face from me, lest I become like those who go down into the pit.
Поспіши́ мене ви́слухати, Господи, — дух мій кінча́ється! Не ховай Ти від мене обличчя Свого́, і нехай я не бу́ду подібний до тих, хто схо́дить до гро́бу!
8 Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning, for in thee do I trust. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to thee.
Об'яви́ мені вранці Своє милосердя, бо на Тебе наді́юсь, повідо́м Ти мене про дорогу, якою я маю ходи́ти, бо до Тебе підно́шу я душу свою́!
9 Deliver me, O Jehovah, from my enemies. I flee to thee to hide me.
Урятуй мене, Господи, від моїх ворогів, бо до Тебе вдаю́ся!
10 Teach me to do thy will, for thou are my God. Thy Spirit is good, lead me in the land of uprightness.
Навчи мене волю чинити Твою́, бо Ти Бог мій, — добрий Дух Твій нехай попрова́дить мене по рі́вній землі!
11 Revive me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake. In thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
Ради Ймення Свого, о Господи, оживи мене, Своєю правдою ви́веди душу мою від недолі!
12 And in thy loving kindness cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul, for I am thy servant.
А в Своїм милосерді понищ моїх ворогів, і ви́губи всіх, хто нена́видить душу мою, бо я — раб Твій!
