Psalms 135
1 Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah,
ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो! ख़ुदावन्द के नाम की हम्द करो! ऐ ख़ुदावन्द के बन्दो! उसकी हम्द करो।
2 ye who stand in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of the house of our God.
तुम जो ख़ुदावन्द के घर में, हमारे ख़ुदा के घर की बारगाहों में खड़े रहते हो!
3 Praise ye Jehovah, for Jehovah is good. Sing praises to his name, for it is pleasant.
ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो, क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द भला है; उसके नाम की मदहसराई करो कि यह दिल पसंद है!
4 For Jehovah has chosen Jacob to himself, Israel for his own possession.
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने या'क़ूब को अपने लिए, और इस्राईल को अपनी ख़ास मिल्कियत के लिए चुन लिया है।
5 For I know that Jehovah is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
इसलिए कि मैं जानता हूँ कि ख़ुदावन्द बुजुर्ग़ है और हमारा रब्ब सब मा'बूदों से बालातर है।
6 Whatever Jehovah pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps,
आसमान और ज़मीन में, समन्दर और गहराओ में; ख़ुदावन्द ने जो कुछ चाहा वही किया।
7 who causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth, who makes lightnings for the rain, who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries,
वह ज़मीन की इन्तिहा से बुख़ारात उठाता है, वह बारिश के लिए बिजलियाँ बनाता है, और अपने मख़ज़नों से आँधी निकालता है।
8 who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast,
उसी ने मिस्र के पहलौठों को मारा, क्या इंसान के क्या हैवान के।
9 who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants,
ऐ मिस्र, उसी ने तुझ में फ़िर'औन और उसके सब ख़ादिमो पर, निशान और 'अजायब ज़ाहिर किए।
10 who smote many nations, and killed mighty kings-
उसने बहुत सी क़ौमों को मारा, और ज़बरदस्त बादशाहों को क़त्ल किया।
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan-
अमोरियों के बादशाह सीहोन को, और बसन के बादशाह 'ओज को, और कनान की सब मम्लुकतों को;
12 and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel his people.
और उनकी ज़मीन मीरास कर दी, या'नी अपनी क़ौम इस्राईल की मीरास।
13 Thy name, O Jehovah, is forever, thy memorial, O Jehovah, throughout all generations.
ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! तेरा नाम हमेशा का है, और तेरी यादगार, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, नसल दर नसल क़ाईम है।
14 For Jehovah will judge his people, and will relent concerning his servants.
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द अपनी क़ौम की 'अदालत करेगा, और अपने बन्दों पर तरस खाएगा।
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
क़ौमों के बुत चाँदी और सोना हैं, या'नी आदमी की दस्तकारी।
16 They have mouths, but they speak not. They have eyes, but they see not.
उनके मुँह हैं, लेकिन वह बोलते नहीं; आँखें हैं लेकिन वह देखते नहीं।
17 They have ears, but they hear not, nor is there any breath in their mouths.
उनके कान हैं, लेकिन वह सुनते नहीं; और उनके मुँह में साँस नहीं।
18 Those who make them shall be like them, yea, everyone who trusts in them.
उनके बनाने वाले उन ही की तरह हो जाएँगे; बल्कि वह सब जो उन पर भरोसा रखते हैं।
19 O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah. O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah.
ऐ इस्राईल के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो! ऐ हारून के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो।
20 O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah. Ye who fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
ऐ लावी के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो! ऐ ख़ुदावन्द से डरने वालो! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो!
21 Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
सिय्यून में ख़ुदावन्द मुबारक हो! वह येरूशलेम में सुकूनत करता है ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो।
