Psalms 130

1 Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Jehovah.

שיר המעלות ממעמקים קראתיך יהוה׃

2 Lord, hear my voice. Let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

אדני שמעה בקולי תהיינה אזניך קשבות לקול תחנוני׃

3 If thou, Jehovah, should note iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

אם עונות תשמר יה אדני מי יעמד׃

4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou may be feared.

כי עמך הסליחה למען תורא׃

5 I wait for Jehovah. My soul waits, and in his word do I hope,

קויתי יהוה קותה נפשי ולדברו הוחלתי׃

6 my soul for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, watchmen for the morning.

נפשי לאדני משמרים לבקר שמרים לבקר׃

7 O Israel, hope in Jehovah, for with Jehovah there is loving kindness, and with him is plentiful redemption.

יחל ישראל אל יהוה כי עם יהוה החסד והרבה עמו פדות׃

8 And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

והוא יפדה את ישראל מכל עונתיו׃
