Psalms 113

1 Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah.

Louvai ao Senhor. louvai, servos do Senhor, louvai o nome do Senhor.

2 Blessed be the name of Jehovah from this time forth and for evermore.

Seja bendito o nome do Senhor, desde agora para sempre.

3 From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

Desde o nascimento do sol até ao ocaso, seja louvado o nome do Senhor.

4 Jehovah is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Exaltado está o Senhor acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória sobre os céus.

5 Who is like Jehovah our God who has his seat on high,

Quem é como o Senhor nosso Deus, que habita nas alturas?

6 and yet looks upon the low things in heaven and in the earth.

O qual se abate, para ver o que está nos céus e na terra!

7 He raises up a poor man out of the dust, and lifts up a needy man from the dunghill,

Levanta o pobre do pó, e do monturo levanta o necessitado,

8 that he may set him with rulers, even with the rulers of his people.

Para o fazer assentar com os príncipes, mesmo com os príncipes do seu povo.

9 He makes the barren woman to keep house, a joyful mother of sons. Praise ye Jehovah.

Faz com que a mulher estéril habite na casa, e seja alegre mãe de filhos. louvai ao Senhor.
