< Psalms 11 >
1 In Jehovah I take refuge. How will ye say to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain.
Dawid dwom. Awurade mu na mede me werɛ ahyɛ. Adɛn na wotumi ka kyerɛ me sɛ, “Tu te sɛ anomaa kɔ wo bepɔ so.
2 For, lo, the wicked bend the bow. They make ready their arrow upon the string that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
Na hwɛ, amumuyɛfoɔ akuntunu wɔn tadua mu, na wɔde wɔn mmɛmma asisi nhoma so sɛ wɔbɛto wɔ esum mu de awɔ akoma mu ahotefoɔ.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can a righteous man do?
Sɛ wɔresɛe fapem no a, ɛdeɛn na ɔteneneeni bɛtumi ayɛ?”
4 Jehovah is in his holy temple. Jehovah's throne is in heaven. His eyes, behold, his eyelids try, the sons of men.
Awurade wɔ nʼasɔredan kronkron no mu; Awurade te ne soro ahennwa so. Ɔhwɛ nnipa mma, nʼani hwehwɛ wɔn mu.
5 Jehovah tries the righteous man, but his soul hates the wicked man and him who loves violence.
Awurade hwehwɛ ɔteneneeni mu, na amumuyɛfoɔ ne wɔn a wɔpɛ basabasayɛ deɛ, ne kra kyiri wɔn.
6 He will rain snares upon sinners. Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.
Ɔbɛtɔ gyaframa ne sɔfe a ɛrederɛ agu Amumuyɛfoɔ so; na mframa a emu yɛ hyeɛ bɛyɛ wɔn kyɛfa.
7 For Jehovah is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright man shall behold his face.
Awurade yɛ ɔteneneeni, na ɔpɛ atɛntenenee; wɔn a wɔtene no bɛhunu nʼanim. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ sɛ wɔnto no wɔ “Seminit” sankuo nne so.
