Psalms 106
1 Praise ye Jehovah. O give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good, for his loving kindness is forever.
೧ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah, or show forth all his praise?
೨ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರು ವರ್ಣಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ಆತನನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವುದು ಯಾರಿಂದಾದೀತು?
3 Blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times.
೩ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವರೂ, ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವವರೂ ಧನ್ಯರು.
4 Remember me, O Jehovah, with the favor that thou bear to thy people. O visit me with thy salvation,
೪ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೂ ತೋರಿಸು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ,
5 that I may see the prosperity of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
೫ಆಗ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಏಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ನಾನೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಕೀಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾನೂ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವೆನು.
6 We have sinned with our fathers. We have committed iniquity. we have done wickedly.
೬ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ನಾವೂ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು; ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿದೆವು; ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದೆವು.
7 Our fathers did not understand thy wonders in Egypt. They did not remember the multitude of thy loving kindnesses, but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
೭ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
೮ಆದರೂ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ತನ್ನ ಶೌರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
9 He also rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up. So he led them through the depths as through a wilderness.
೯ಆತನು ಗದರಿಸಲು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರವು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಅಡವಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಸಾಗರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸಿದನು.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
೧೦ಹಗೆಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ವೈರಿಯ ಹಸ್ತದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.
11 And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
೧೧ಜಲರಾಶಿಯು ಅವರ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 Then they believed his words. They sang his praise.
೧೨ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿದರು.
13 They soon forgot his works. They did not wait for his counsel,
೧೩ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಬೇಗನೆ ಆತನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತು, ಆತನ ನಡೆಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾದಿರದೆ,
14 but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and challenged God in the desert.
೧೪ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಆಶೆಗೊಂಡವರಾಗಿ, ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
15 And he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.
೧೫ಆತನು ಅವರ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಯವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
16 They also envied Moses in the camp, and Aaron the sanctified of Jehovah.
೧೬ಅವರು ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದ ಆರೋನನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಡಲು,
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
೧೭ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದು ದಾತಾನನನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಅಬಿರಾಮನ ಕಡೆಯವರನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company. The flame burned up the wicked men.
೧೮ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯುಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped a molten image.
೧೯ಹೋರೇಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಕದ ಬಸವನನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು.
20 Thus they changed their glory for the likeness of an ox that eats grass.
೨೦ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದಿವ್ಯಮಹಿಮೆಯ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
21 They forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,
೨೧ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ,
22 wondrous works in the land of Ham, and fearful things by the Red Sea.
೨೨ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘೋರಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಿದ, ತಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy.
೨೩ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು ಎನ್ನಲು, ಆತನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸದಂತೆ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಪಡಿಸಿದನು.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land. They did not believe his word,
೨೪ಅವರು ಆ ರಮಣೀಯ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು, ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಿಲ್ಲ.
25 but murmured in their tents, and did not hearken to the voice of Jehovah.
೨೫ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
26 Therefore he swore to them, that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,
೨೬ಇದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬೀಳಿಸುವೆನೆಂದೂ,
27 and that he would overthrow their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
೨೭ಅವರ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ದೇಶಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಸಿ, ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದೂ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿದನು.
28 They also joined themselves to Baal-peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
೨೮ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಾಳ್ ಪೆಗೋರನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
೨೯ಈ ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಿದರು; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯುಂಟಾಯಿತು.
30 Then Phinehas stood up, and executed judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
೩೦ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಲು, ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು.
31 And that was reckoned to him for righteousness to all generations for evermore.
೩೧ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ತಲಾತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನೀತಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
32 They also angered him at the waters of Meribah, so that it went ill with Moses because of them,
೩೨ಅವರು ಮೆರೀಬ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
33 because they were rebellious against his spirit, and he spoke ill-advisedly with his lips.
೩೩ಅವರು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಮೋಶೆ ದುಡುಕಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
34 They did not destroy the peoples, as Jehovah commanded them,
೩೪ಅನ್ಯ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ,
35 but mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works,
೩೫ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವರ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
36 and served their idols, which became a snare to them.
೩೬ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು; ಅವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉರುಲಿನಂತಾದವು.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons,
೩೭ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಭೂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
38 and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was polluted with blood.
೩೮ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿರಪರಾಧ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದರು; ಇಂಥ ಕೊಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದರು.
39 Thus they were defiled with their works, and played the harlot in their doings.
೩೯ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾದರು. ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದರು.
40 Therefore the wrath of Jehovah was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his inheritance.
೪೦ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡಿತು; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಿ,
41 And he gave them into the hand of the nations. And those who hated them ruled over them.
೪೧ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ವೈರಿಗಳು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸಿದರು;
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
೪೨ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋದರು.
43 Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.
೪೩ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನೇಕಾವರ್ತಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their distress when he heard their cry.
೪೪ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ, ಅವರ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸಿದನು.
45 And he remembered his covenant for them, and relented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
೪೫ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿದನು.
46 He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them captive.
೪೬ಸೆರೆಯೊಯ್ದವರ ದಯೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
47 Save us, O Jehovah our God, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
೪೭ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೇ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುವೆವು.
48 Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And let all the people say, Truly. Praise ye Jehovah.
೪೮ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಟವಾಗಲಿ; ಸರ್ವಜನರೂ “ಆಮೆನ್” ಎನ್ನಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!
