< Psalms 102 >
1 Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and let my cry come to thee.
Okusaba kw’oyo ali mu buyinike ng’ayigganyizibwa nga yeeyongedde okunafuwa, n’afukumula byonna ebimuli ku mutima mu maaso ga Mukama. Wulira okusaba kwange, Ayi Mukama, okkirize okukoowoola kwange kutuuke gy’oli.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress. Incline thine ear to me. In the day when I call answer me speedily.
Tonneekweka mu biseera eby’obuyinike bwange. Ntegera okutu kwo onnyanukule mangu bwe nkukoowoola!
3 For my days consume away like smoke, and my bones are burned as a firebrand.
Kubanga ennaku zange zifuumuuka ng’omukka, n’amagumba gange gaaka ng’amanda.
4 My heart is smitten like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
Omutima gwange gulinnyirirwa ng’omuddo, era guwotose; neerabira n’okulya emmere yange.
5 Because of the voice of my groaning my bones cling to my flesh.
Olw’okwaziirana kwange okunene, nzenna nfuuse ŋŋumbagumba.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
Ndi ng’ekiwuugulu eky’omu ddungu, era ng’ekiwuugulu eky’omu nsiko.
7 I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone upon the house-top.
Nsula ntunula, nga ndi ng’ekinyonyi ekitudde kyokka ku kasolya k’ennyumba.
8 My enemies reproach me all the day. Those who are mad against me do curse by me.
Abalabe bange banvuma olunaku lwonna; abo abanduulira bakozesa linnya lyange nga bakolima.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
Kubanga ndya evvu ng’alya emmere, n’amaziga gange ne geegattika mu kyokunywa kyange.
10 because of thine indignation and thy wrath. For thou have taken me up, and cast me away.
Olw’obusungu n’okunyiiga kwo; onneegobyeko n’onsuula eyo.
11 My days are like a shadow that declines, and I am withered like grass.
Ennaku zange ziri ng’ekisiikirize ky’olweggulo nga buziba; mpotoka ng’omuddo.
12 But thou, O Jehovah, will abide forever, and thy memorial to all generations.
Naye ggwe, Ayi Mukama, obeera mu ntebe yo ey’obwakabaka emirembe n’emirembe; erinnya lyo linajjukirwanga ab’omu mirembe gyonna.
13 Thou will arise, and have mercy upon Zion, for it is time to have pity upon her, yea, the set time has come.
Olisituka n’osaasira Sayuuni, kino kye kiseera okulaga Sayuuni omukwano; ekiseera kye wateekateeka kituuse.
14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity upon her dust.
Kubanga amayinja gaakyo abaweereza bo bagaagala nnyo, n’enfuufu y’omu kibuga ekyo ebakwasa ekisa.
15 So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
Amawanga gonna ganaatyanga erinnya lya Mukama; ne bakabaka bonna ab’ensi banaakankananga olw’ekitiibwa kyo.
16 For Jehovah has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
Kubanga Mukama alizimba Sayuuni buto, era n’alabika mu kitiibwa kye.
17 He has regarded the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
Alyanukula okusaba kw’abanaku; talinyooma kwegayirira kwabwe.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come. And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.
Bino leka biwandiikirwe ab’omu mirembe egirijja, abantu abatannatondebwa bwe balibisoma balyoke batendereze Mukama.
19 For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven Jehovah beheld the earth,
Bategeere nti Mukama yatunula wansi ng’asinziira waggulu mu kifo kye ekitukuvu; Mukama yasinzira mu ggulu n’atunuulira ensi,
20 to hear the sighing of the prisoner, to loose those who are appointed to death,
okuwulira okusinda kw’abasibe, n’okusumulula abo abasaliddwa ogw’okufa.
21 that men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
Erinnya lya Mukama, liryoke litenderezebwe mu Sayuuni, bamutenderezenga mu Yerusaalemi;
22 when the peoples are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
abantu nga bakuŋŋaanye, awamu n’obwakabaka, okusinza Mukama.
23 He weakened my strength in the way. He shortened my days.
Mukama ammazeemu amaanyi nga nkyali muvubuka; akendeezezza ku nnaku z’obulamu bwange.
24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days. Thy years are throughout all generations.
Ne ndyoka mmukaabira nti, “Ayi Katonda wange, tontwala nga nkyali mu makkati g’emyaka gy’obulamu bwange, ggw’abeera omulamu emirembe gyonna.
25 Of old thou laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
Ku ntandikwa wassaawo omusingi gw’ensi; n’eggulu gy’emirimu gy’emikono gyo.
26 They shall perish, but thou shall endure. Yea, all of them shall grow old like a garment. As a vesture thou shall change them, and they shall be changed,
Byonna biriggwaawo, naye ggwe oli wa lubeerera. Byonna birikaddiwa ng’ebyambalo. Olibikyusa ng’ebyambalo, ne bisuulibwa.
27 but thou are the same, and thy years shall have no end.
Naye ggwe tokyuka oli wa lubeerera n’emyaka gyo tegirikoma.
28 The sons of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
Abaana b’abaweereza bo baliba mu ddembe; ne bazzukulu baabwe banaabeeranga w’oli nga tebalina kye batya.”
