Psalms 101

1 I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To thee, O Jehovah, I will sing praises.

Dawid Dwom. Mɛto wo dɔ ne wo trenee ho nnwom; Awurade, mɛto ayeyi nnwom ama wo.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Mɛhwɛ yiye abu ɔbra a ho tew; da bɛn na wobɛba me nkyɛn? Mede koma a afɔdi nni mu bɛhwɛ me fi so.

3 I will set no base thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside. It shall not cleave to me.

Merennye ade a ɛyɛ tan biara nto mu. Mikyi nnipa a wonni gyidi nneyɛe; meremfa me ho mmata ho.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will know no evil thing.

Nnipa a wɔn koma yɛ kɔntɔnkye remmɛn me; me ne bɔne nni hwee yɛ.

5 He who slanders his neighbor secretly, him I will destroy. He who has a high look and a proud heart I will not endure.

Obiara a odi ne yɔnko ho nseku wɔ kokoa mu no, ɔno na mɛsɛe; nea ɔwɔ ahantan ani ne ahomaso koma, ɔno na merennyigye no so.

6 My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he shall minister to me.

Mʼani bɛkɔ anokwafo a wɔwɔ asase no so no so na me ne wɔn atena; nea ne nantew ho nni asɛm no ɔno na ɔbɛsom me.

7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before my eyes.

Nea ɔyɛ ɔdaadaafo biara rentena me fi; nea otwa nkontompo no rennyina mʼanim.

8 Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

Adekyee biara, mɛsɛe amumɔyɛfo a wɔwɔ asase yi so nyinaa; na mapam ɔdebɔneyɛni biara afi Awurade kuropɔn mu.
