1 Make a joyful noise to Jehovah, all ye lands.

En Salme. Til Takofferet. Raab af Fryd for HERREN, al Jorden,

2 Serve Jehovah with gladness. Come before his presence with singing.

tjener HERREN med Glæde, kom for hans Aasyn med Jubel!

3 Know ye that Jehovah, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Kend, at HERREN er Gud! Han skabte os, vi er hans, hans Folk og den Hjord, han vogter.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name.

Gaa ind i hans Porte med Takkesang, med Lovsange ind i hans Forgaarde, tak ham og lov hans Navn!

5 For Jehovah is good. His loving kindness is forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Thi god er HERREN, hans Miskundhed varer evindelig, fra Slægt til Slægt hans Trofasthed!
